For someone who's 6'5, Tosin should probably be scoring 5+ goals a season, especially when you consider our proficiency from set pieces.

He's scored 3 in his career with us, and Palhinha has 3 in half a season.

Kurzawa beaten too easily, been hot and cold this game, clearly rusty but wont be taking robinsons place any times soon

Manor looks the best player on the pitch by a mile.

Wilson off for William
Mitro for Vinicius and we win this

We need some changes at halftime. Decent display so far I thought, unlucky to concede after a stupid mistake from Diop(who's been great otherwise imo), we should have scored 2 goals at least (both Tosin and Andreas should have scored from their chances).

Mixed bag of performances, Solomon looks incredible and Pereira has been quality but no one else has had a noticeably good game. The full backs are giving Vinicius no service, Wilson is anonymous again and Vinicius is back to his early form - unable to hold the ball up and lacking that poachers instinct.

We need a goal to kick start things. The good news is Palhinha looks okay.

Wilson probably needs more time on the pitch before I dig him out too much. Coming back from a major injury.
Hasn't seemed to stop Manor from showing his class that said though!

I think we have played fairly well against a team sitting back. Should have scored two goals, shouldn't have gifted one. Normally we are at least one, likely two goals up.

Poor support for Kurzawa, who clearly needs it. Vinicius very poor first touch. TC and Pereira running the show, but difficult to break through. Solomon looks promising, although rusty and not very used to playing with us.

Vinicius poor today. Looks as if he is just waiting for someone to tee him up. Our defence doesn't look too solid either. We need to move the ball forward much more quickly.

Great challenge by Kenny

Best right back we've had since Finnan.

I'd agree with that.

We've been better going forward in the second half but probably even more open at the back

I'd rather we lost than had to have a midweek replay up in Sunderland between two prem games. Winning today would be ideal though

We've lost our ability to dominate since TC and Palhinha came off.

What a game

Fair play to Sunderland
But bugger me our left side of defense particularly was a complete mess today. Kurzawa wasnt terrible going forward but sluggish and beaten to easily in defense. Really hope Robinson stays fit this season!

We must make sure we finish the job up in Sunderland.
As we are going all the way up there we must make sure win it.

One more match is not a problem. We are not playing in Europe. If we aspire to success, we should not be fearful of playing matches. Unfortunately, I could only listen to the match today, but it sounded like a cracking game.  I welcome another match like that.

Rather lose than have a replay? I just do not understand that attitude. We are more than  comfortably placed in the league.

Have to give huge credit to Sunderland, they were great and young Amad Diallo on loan from Man Utd looks a real talent. Was very entertaining and draw is about right.

Fully agree. One more game isn't something we should be concerned about but a decent cup run certainly is.
