I was struck how Messrs Lineker, Murphy (obvs), Richards and Shearer were loving us tonight. Cue accusations of being 'media darlings' and luvvies, but it made a nice change from them drooling over Citeh etc.

When I read some of the comments on here about our players I do wonder what game I watched so why is it any different for the BBC pundits? They say it as they see it and I'd rather listen to Danny Murphy talk about our club than read some of the comments from the armchair managers on here.

I was being facetious but it clearly doesn't translate to the written word, or at least in this instance I couldn't make it do so. I have no problem with BBC and the marvellous things that it does worldwide to bring money into this country and find it really odd that others who willingly watch it seem to hate it so much.
I'll say no more on the matter though, threads get deleted for having any thoughts about one of the most important institutions (like it or not) that this country has ever created.
