Exeter City are poised to land Fulham youngster Luke Harris on loan, as detailed in a report by DevonLive.
Exeter City are preparing for the upcoming League One season and kick-start the 2023/24 campaign with an away trip to Wycombe Wanderers this weekend.
Harris, 18, has been away with Fulham on their pre-season trip to USA but they are heading back to England now following their friendly loss to Chelsea on Sunday.
DevonLive suggest the teenager has 'agreed' a loan switch to join Gary Caldwell's side next term.
Exeter new face incoming
Harris will inject more quality into Exeter's midfield ranks if they are to win the race to land him. He will also add more competition and depth into their options in the middle of the park.
The Jersey-born man is highly-rated by the Cottagers and is being tipped for a bright future in the game with the London outfit. However, his pathway into their first-team at the moment is blocked due to the abundance of options that Marco Silva has in his position at his disposal meaning a temporary exit would be beneficial to his development.
It would allow him to get some regular game time under his belt at a decent level in the Football League.
Harris has been on the books at Fulham for his whole career to date and has risen up through the academy ranks of the Premier League club. He has been ever-present for them at various youth levels throughout the past few years and has played five times for their senior team.
A loan switch to Exeter, just like his teammate Jay Stansfield last term, could be on the cards for him in the near future now.

Aleksandar Mitrovic will seek Fulham transfer exit even if Saudi Arabia switch falls through
Aleksandar Mitrovic will push to leave Fulham this summer even if his proposed big-money move to Saudi Arabia falls through.
Al-Hilal have been ready to more than triple Mitrovic's £120,000-a-week wages but Fulham want around £50million for the striker and they are reluctant to meet that asking price.
Mitrovic has tried to force through a move to Al-Hilal and is unhappy after Fulham rejected their latest offer of £40m.
Should the Saudi club end their pursuit of him, Mitrovic will seek an alternative move in Europe after indicating he wants to leave Craven Cottage.
Mitrovic is back in training with Fulham but the 28-year-old was left out of their squad to face Chelsea in Washington last night.

On July 27th, L'Equipe reported AS Monaco have submitted a first offer of around €5m to sign Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo.
The Ligue 1 side are keen on bolstering their defence and the 25-year-old has been identified as their main target, according to Foot Mercato.
Monaco are on the right track to sign the Fulham player. It's claimed they have 'quickly' reached an agreement with him, despite interest from other clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur. A deal now needs to be agreed between the two clubs.
The report states the French club are now close to agreeing a deal with Marco Silva's side for the centre-back. Foot Mercato add the two clubs want the operation to be closed before the weekend.
On Sunday, multiple reports in England and France stated the Ligue 1 side have a deal in place to sell Axel Disasi to Chelsea.
With Monaco now 'very close' to completing a deal for the Fulham player, the report says he should replace Disasi at the club next season.
There's no mention of the fee Silva's side will collect from Adarabioyo's impending sale.

It's Il Bianconero's understanding that West Ham United, Everton and Fulham are tracking Juventus hotshot Samuel Iling-Junior. Iling-Junior, 19, honed his skills at Chelsea and in 2020, the winger penned a three-year deal at Juve and last season was his breakthrough campaign in Italy.
In 18 outings, the England U20 representative registered a goal and two assists and as he's regarded as an exciting prospect, the Bianconeri have placed a €20m price tag on his head, although it's said they would also be happy for the Islington-born winger to depart on a temporary basis if the project suits his development programme.

The article states that a 'proposal has emerged' from Fulham, although talks between involved parties are formative, rather than advanced. Vera is an Argentina U23 player and while he's billed as a defensive midfielder, he is able to operate in varying roles in the centre of the park, so you could label him an all-rounder with room to grow.
Josip Sutalo – Dinamo Zagreb
An extract from an Firenze Viola article proposes that as well as Fiorentina, Arsenal, Ajax, SSC Napoli and Red Bull Leipzig, Fulham are in the mix for Dinamo Zagreb's Josip Sutalo. The 21-year-old apparently isn't swayed by a switch to English shores and on the continent, there's presumed intrigue from Borussia Monchengladbach.
Rieder is still undecided as to where he'll pull strings next season and even if he remains at the Stadion Wankdorf, he's undoubtedly one to watch out for in the years to come. The Swiss international has a sweet left foot, his energy alleviates pressure and in the opening game of the 2023/24 season in Switzerland (it commenced on the 23 July) he contributed an assist to Young Boys' 2-1 victory over Lausanne-Sport. Those at TEAMtalk have been informed that Fulham are now involved in the melee for Strasbourg's sought-after striker Habib Diallo. The Whites will have to contend with West Ham, Brentford and Nottingham Forest for Diallo's services but really, where we're concerned, any potential bid for the 28-year-old balances on Aleksandar Mitrovic's Saudi saga.
The Senegal international bagsman netted 20 Ligue 1 goals last season and at this juncture of his career, he could have his best years ahead of him yet. Jiménez recently teamed up with Silva and his men in America from Wolverhampton Wanderers, we've still got Carlos Vinicius, Rodrigo Muniz and Jay Stansfield on our books and as we're yet to receive a sufficient offer from Mitrovic from the Middle East, we have no choice but to put this one on the backburner for now.

The Evening Standard suggests this morning that Aleksandar Mitrovic 'will push' to leave Fulham this summer even if his big-money move to Saudi Arabia falls through.
The Serbian striker trained with his team-mates on the final three days of Fulham's pre-season tour and Marco Silva remains determined to keep him at Craven Cottage. Al-Hilal, who turned the forward's head with an offer to treble his salary, have moved onto other targets having proven unable to match Fulham's £52m valuation and the Standard's Nizaar Kinsella reports that the unsettled number nine is still hoping to leave SW6 before the end of the summer transfer window.
The major issue with that position is that all interested parties have baulked at Fulham's asking price for the 28 year-old. Mitrovic's agent, Pini Zahavi, is working overtime to try and find a solution and offered his client to Inter Milan this weekend but the Nerazzurri – whose financial difficulties saw them default on their stadium payments earlier this month – would neither be able to afford Fulham's asking price or match Mitrovic's current salary.

Tosin 'nears Monaco move'
Fulham centre back Tosin Adarabioyo is edging nearer to a transfer to Monaco, according to reports from France.
The 25 year-old defender, who has entered the final year of his contract at Craven Cottage, has rejected approaches from Tottenham in order to clear the path for move to Ligue 1. The former Manchester City trainee has quickly agreed terms with Monaco, according to Foot Mercato, who also claim that Les Rouge et Blanc are confident of striking a deal with Fulham by the weekend.
Monaco have identified Tosin, who has made 106 appearances for Fulham since arriving from City for £1.8m in October 2020, as their preferred replacement for the Chelsea-bound Axel Disasi but have yet to match the Whites' valuation for their ball-playing centre back. Fulham rejected Monaco's first offer of around £4.3m and are believed to be holding out for a fee of at least £10m.

The Foxes want nearly £13m for their versatile full back, who featured in the final game of City's pre-season tour of Asia – a 4-0 hammering by Liverpool yesterday, but the fee is a problem for Juventus, who will need to trim their bloated squad to raise the funds. Castagne has indicated a preference to move to La Vecchia Signora, with his representatives even telling the Turin giants that a lack of European football is no barrier to the transfer, but the uncertainty over when and whether Juve will stump up the cash creates an opportunity for Fulham.

Leicester City's Timothy Castagne has ended up on Fulham's radar, according to a report from Italy.
The fullback would like to leave the King Power Stadium after the Foxes' relegation from the Premier League. Claims from Italy have pushed Juventus out in front as the main contender.
Massimiliano Allegri's side will face competition from Fulham to sign the 27-year-old, according to Tutto Juve.
Their title states the Premier League side 'insist on Castagne' and within the report, it's said the London club's 'pressing is insistent' to acquire the Leicester player's signature.
Despite Fulham joining the chase for the Belgium international, the website states the Serie A side are still in pole position. That's because the ex-Atalanta man would prefer a return to Italy and has already given his approval to the Turin club.
Castagne, who can operate as a left-back and right-back, has a deal lasting until 2025. Tutto Juve say Leicester value him around €15m.
Although Juventus are currently on pole, they will have to carry out a few sales to sign Castagne. This may give Fulham time to try to get ahead of the Italian club to convince the player to join them.

Fulham coach reveals what he told Bassey before throwing him into the fray v Chelsea
Fulham manager Marco Silva has revealed his conversation with Calvin Bassey before throwing him into the fray in Sunday's 2-0 loss to Chelsea in the Premier League Summer Series.
Silva almost took everyone by surprise by giving minutes to Bassey, considering the fact that the Nigeria national teamer was acquired two days before the meeting with Chelsea.
In addition, the Leicester City academy product had been inactive for past club Ajax Amsterdam since playing the second half of their 3-0 rout of Shakhtar Donetsk in a pre-season friendly on July 18, amid speculation surrounding his future.
Against Chelsea, the central defender came off the bench at halftime as a replacement for De Fougerolles.
Before Bassey's introduction, the damage had already been done as Chelsea had established a two-goal lead courtesy of efforts from Thiago Silva and Christopher Nkunku.
Silva stressed that his brand new Nigerian signing was not under pressure to perform when he brought him on for the second half.
In quotes relayed by Fulham's official webpage, Silva stated at the post-match press conference: "It was the first 45 minutes for [Bassey] and I told him I didn't expect brilliant, brilliant things. I wanted him to start simple to get some confidence, and he did.
"When he gets to know his teammates better, know the connections better, he can show different things, much more on the ball.
"Off the ball, he's a strong lad, it's just a matter of time for him to understand our principles and our ideas on and off the ball."
Fulham signed Bassey on a four-year contract with a club option to extend by a further twelve months.

Leicester City defender Timothy Castagne wants a move to Juventus this summer, as per Tutto Juve (Via Hammy End).
Castagne, 27, made 37 Premier League appearances for Leicester City last season. He contributed to five goals from right back and proved once again he is more than capable of performing in the top tier.
The Belgian has enjoyed a successful time on the whole since joining the Foxes, but their recent relegation could mark the end of his time with the club. Transfer speculation surrounding his future has been circulating all summer with Fulham reportedly holding strong interest in Castagne. Arsenal were also said to have him on their list of targets, but talk of that deal has since gone cold.
However, despite Premier League interest it appears the Belgian's preference for a move lies elsewhere with new reports stating he wants a transfer to Italian giants Juventus.
Holding firm
So far Leicester City have done well in sticking to their valuation for their key men this summer. Enzo Maresca appears to be building a very strong squad for the second tier, but it appears more and more likely that he will have to go through this season without Castagne as an option.
It remains to be seen whether Juventus can afford to pay what the Foxes want for the 27-year-old, and that could leave the door open for Fulham to still pull a deal off later down the line.
Marco Silva is said to have had Castagne on his list of targets for some time now, but with Castagne seemingly interested in other options at the minute it could put a stop to their interest for the time being.
It'll be interesting to see how this one plays out, but at the moment Castagne is still available for Leicester City's opening game of the season against Coventry City this weekend.

A report by Football Insider and journalist Pete O'Rourke shares an update on their pursuit of the 22-year-old, and it's stated they are "ready to swoop" for him.
There is currently a difference in valuations delaying a full agreement between the clubs, but there is a belief a deal can be wrapped up for the forward.
While Serie A side Lazio and league rivals Nottingham Forest are believed to be keen on signing Hudson-Odoi, Fulham have a slight edge in the race, with the player apparently keen to remain in London.

How good is Callum Hudson-Odoi?
On loan at Bayer Leverkusen last season, Hudson-Odoi struggled to make an impact, scoring just one goal and assisting one other in 21 total appearances.
However, the Englishman is still only young, and maybe a fresh opportunity away from Chelsea is exactly what is needed to reignite his career.
Chelsea legend and two-time manager Frank Lampard tipped him to be "huge" in 2019, going on to call him an "incredible player".
"I know what a player he is," said Lampard to the media.
"He can be an incredible player and he has improvement to make and I want to work with him to do it. But for that he needs to stay longer at the club and of course that then goes to a decision between him and the club itself. I can see him being a huge player for us."

Referees will be encouraged to issue at least one yellow card where two or more players confront them this season as part of a series of measures designed to improve behaviour on and off the pitch at all levels of the English game.
The football authorities are seeking a 'reset' in how those who play and watch the game conduct themselves, with a series of measures intended to tackle the issue set out on Monday.
Key among them are a new 'Participant Charter' empowering match officials to take tougher action against unacceptable behaviour, backed up by stronger disciplinary action from the Football Association.
Serious and repeat offenders can expect to face increased financial penalties, while referees will be encouraged to issue at least a yellow card if they are confronted by two or more players.
Captains will be expected to take responsibility for their team-mates by encouraging them to play fairly and show respect towards the match officials and their decisions.

Aleksandar Mitrovic 'wants to leave Fulham even if Saudi Arabia move falls through'
Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic will reportedly push for a summer exit even if a move to Al-Hilal falls through.
The West London club have already turned down two offers for Mitrovic from the Saudi Pro League side, including the latest bid of £40m.
After being left frustrated with Fulham's decision to reject Al Hilal's approach, Mitrovic allegedly vowed to never play for the club again.
The Saudi Arabian side have presented Mitrovic with a lucrative contract offer that would triple his £120,000 a week wages.
The Serbia international has spent time away from the squad, but Fulham boss Marco Silva has confirmed that the forward has returned to training.
According to The Standard, Mitrovic is still keen to leave the club this summer and will seek an alternative move if a transfer to Al-Hilal fails to materialise.
The Cottagers are currently holding out for a fee in the region of £50m, but Al-Hilal are reluctant to meet that valuation.
Mitrovic, who has three years left to run on his contract, scored 14 goals in 24 Premier League games last term, helping the club achieve a top-half finish.
Since joining the club in 2018, the Serbian has registered a total of 111 goals in 205 appearances across all competitions.
With Mitrovic pushing for a move away from Craven Cottage, Fulham have delved into the market to strengthen their forward line with the addition of Raul Jimenez from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Jimenez made his first appearance for the club in Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in the final match of the Premier League summer series.
Defender Calvin Bassey also played his first game in a Fulham shirt after completing a €21m (£18m) move from Ajax last week.

Fulham are 'pressing' ahead with a deal for Leicester City defender Timothy Castagne as Premier League rivals Arsenal appear to cool their interest in the £13 million-rated Belgium international.
Six weeks ago, breaking his silence following Leicester City's calamitous relegation from the top-flight, the former Genk and Atalanta full-back expressed his desire to leave the Foxes for what he described as a 'top club'.
"The next two months will be important to make the right choices," Timothy Castagne said. "I let my agent do his job to the moment. He is having discussions.
"There will be a choice to be made, for sure. We are trying to find a top club."

Whether Castagne considers Fulham to be a side within that lofty bracket, however, perhaps time will tell. Even the most hard-nosed Cottagers supporter would have to accept that there is quite the gap, in terms of stature and history, between Fulham and two of Castagne's other suitors; Arsenal and Juventus.
But the prospect of regular Premier League football at Craven Cottage in the year before Euro 2024 should still hold plenty of appeal.
Arsenal opened talks with Leicester earlier in the summer, according to Sacha Tavolieri. A potential move to the Emirates appears to have gone by the wayside, however, since Arsenal brought in Jurrien Timber from Ajax. The cultured, highly-versatile Timber shone as a centre-half in Amsterdam. But he may be utilised by Arteta in the right-back spot Castagne prefers.
TuttoJuve, meanwhile, believe that, while Juventus are currently in pole position, the troubled Serie A giants may need to first raise funds via player sales. What's more, in a further boost to Fulham's hopes, a move to Turin may not appeal to Castagne quite as much as it may have done after Juve were banned from European football for 2023/24.

Pellegrini torn between Lazio, Fulham and Nice
Luca Pellegrini is set to leave Juventus this summer, but while Fulham agreed terms with the player, Juventus are leaning towards either Lazio or OGC Nice instead.
The full-back made the move to Juve from Roma for €22m in 2019 and has struggled to make a regular impact during loans at Cagliari, Genoa, Eintracht Frankfurt and most recently Lazio.
His contract runs to June 2025 and the Bianconeri are eager to get him off their books with a sale, which is why the request from Lazio for an extended loan has so far been rejected.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Fulham have agreed personal terms with Pellegrini and his agent, but that doesn't mean a deal is done.
They have not worked out a fee with Juventus, who would prefer to sell him to OGC Nice instead for €8m.
This is not the first time Fulham have hit problems trying to get a full-back from Serie A, as they had an agreement with Milan only for Fode Ballo-Toure to turn them down.

Fulham coach Marco Silva has praised Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey for his debut performance against Chelsea in a pre-season encounter, Soccernet reports.
Bassey struggled to fit in at Amsterdam last season following his transfer from Rangers. The Nigerian defender struggled to get playtime under coach John Heitinga as he was often the scapegoat whenever Ajax lost.
Even new boss Maurice Steijn, who just took over at Ajax this summer, advised him to move because he was not an important member of the team.
Bassey joined Premier League side Fulham last week in a transfer worth €22.5million, and he was given a baptism of fire. His first game was against Chelsea in a pre-season fixture in America.
The Super Eagles star was introduced into the game at halftime when Chelsea were already two goals up, and he put up a good performance.
Fulham boss Silva was impressed after Bassey's showing, even though they lost 2-0.
"It was his[Bassey] first 45 minutes. I told him I didn't want to see anything brilliant or extraordinary from him," Marco Silva said, per Voetbal Flitsen.
"I wanted him to start simple so he could have some confidence. And he did it perfectly".
"If he gets to know his teammates even better, knows the patterns and principles, then he can show even more. Also, on the ball, he is a very strong lad. It is only a matter of time before he is fully integrated."
Bassey would be expected to play a major role at Fulham next season because of the departure of Tosin Adarabioyo.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio today shares some news on Fulham's attempt to sign Juventus fullback Luca Pellegrini.
According to his report, the Whites aren't the only club in the race for the 25-year-old, since the likes of OGC Nice and Lazio are also interested.

Di Marzio just doesn't make it clear how much the agreement between Nice and Juventus is worth, as matching that offer is all that Fulham may need to win the battle for the signing.

This is one of the advantages of being a London club. But don't forget that Clay bought us for that reason. Being in a nice place on the river made us an attractive proposition for Marler Estates as well as our regression as a club. We are now back to where we belong.
