Oh dear, Palhinha not available and Reed took a nasty head injury last week which may well rule him out, also Willian doubtful. It looked for a while if we were getting close to an injury free squad but no such luck. If both Palhinha and Reed are missing from midfield we will have a problem.
My choice for our starting eleven to face Brighton is:-
Leno
Tete Tosin Bassy Robinson
Cairney Lukic
Periera
Iwobi Traore
Muniz
With Palhinha still suspended, I'd go with an unchanged 11, unless Willian is back. I think that he is too good to be on the bench if he's available. Him, Leno and Palhinha are probably the only ones that need to come straight back in if available.
So this:
Leno
Castagne Tosin Bassey Robinson
Reed Lukic
Iwobi Andreas Willian
Muniz
If Willian isn't available, then this:
Leno
Castagne Tosin Bassey Robinson
Reed Lukic
Wilson Andreas Iwobi
Muniz
Normally, I prefer Tete and Diop to Castagne and Tosin, but after their perfromances vs Manchester United they deserve to keep their place.
Leno
Castagne. Tosin. Bassey. Robinson
Reed. Lukic
Wilson. Cairney. Iwobi
Muniz
Give Andreas a rest
One change Willan for Wilson
?s=20
If all fit the same team.
It's Hard to drop Lukic after his last performance, tricky one
Maybe just go with the same team or just drop AP for TC

Yes this
I'd like to see TC in a further forward roll
Leno
Tete Tosin Bassey Robinson
Lukic
Pereira Cairney
Iwobi Willian
Muniz
Don't think we will need the double pivot for this game and we go back to our normal double 8 in front of a 6. Willian has to start if fit. Adama on around the 60th minute for Pereira or Cairney and shift Iwobi to the middle if tied or losing. Bring on Reed to shift to the double pivot if winning. Same backline. Muniz continues his hot form.
I think Traore is best as an impact sub. He is lethal then. As the United defence are well aware.
Ie bring him on after 4mins.....

Cairney again !! It has to be Reed every time.

Or a minute or two either way.
I still rate Tete above Castagne, and not really sure why he is seeing so much pine. That said, not complaining about how Castagne is playing, has been solid. Just would like to see Tete get some time. Maybe he's carrying a knock?

Pretty sure Marco just prefers Castagne over Tete especially after Tete had a shocker in his substitute appearance at Burnley
Whatever our team we need to be ready for Brighton's high press and not be afraid to go long when required.
The Brighton forum suggests we need to deploy a low block like Wolves did in the week. Can someone please explain what this is?

Low block means you play a low backline when out of possession. Basically it's Moyes-ball. Can't see Marco really ever doing that from the start of a game unless it's forced upon us like Man City will do.
Cairney for Pereira and a real choice between Wilson and Traore if Willian is still out. Would like to see Traore start, see what he can do over 90.

Low block
Get the clone machine out
Hit them on the break....
LW - Adama
10 - Adama
RW - Adama
Striker - anyone apart from Adama so we can put the ball in the back of the net ::thumb::
::scarf::

We did it away against them last year and it worked pretty well to be fair

If that was the low block we saw today, I like it!
