Title: Cost of the International Break
Post by: filham on March 28, 2024, 10:27:18 AM
Lets hope that today all players have now returned from the International Break and we have a couple of days to prepare for the Shef.U.game. Well, we have suffered from the discontinuity in training, probably lost the momentum generated by the Spurs win and some players will be suffering jet lag as a minimum. Injuries are only now being recognised but Harry Wilson will need to be motivated after Wales lost their big European chance.

Lets hope Silva can get a team together close to the one that beat Spurs and god enough to pick up the three point from a poor Shefield U. team that would have been well within our grasp but for the International Break.

It's always gonna be a cause for concern.  Up to MS to rally the lads, keep them motivated and hungry.  This should be a three point pickup, but in this league you can't take anything for granted.  I'm sure MS knows this and will prepare accordingly.....
