Title: This weekends games
Post by: St Eve on April 12, 2024, 10:07:11 PM
I want :

Newcastle to beat Spurs
Sheffield United to beat Brentford
Burnley to beat Brighton
Luton to beat City
Wolves to beat Forest
Boscombe to beat United
Palace to beat Liverpool
Arsenal to draw with Villa
Chelsea to beat Everton

The cheats both lose, Luton get nearer to survival and Spurs are out if the top 4

Are you secretly a Luton fan as you seem to want them to win every week.

I would like to see Luton stay up but my desire to see Arsenal and Liverpool fail far outweighs that thought.

I still want all the teams above us and within touching distance to lose as well as Liverpool and Arsenal. Would also like to see Luton stay up.

Starting to look pretty interesting in the championship with Leicester falling off.

Only thing set in stone there is Rotherham going down like they always do. Baffling how they're so good in League One but abject every time in the championship.

Not me. For the league I want anyone other than the UAE. Come on Luton

Good start. Spurs thrashed

Also Leeds lose at home to Blackburn and their coach gets a red card. First home defeat in over a year. Don't want them to go up

20 years back it would've been inconceivable that AFC Bournemouth would do the double over the mighty Man Utd.

And just as I type this Utd get a penalty!

Never a pen!!!

Travesty if that's handball!

Looked soft to me but I have absolutely no idea what is a penalty these days!

The ref REALLY didn't want to award Bournemouth a penalty there.

Feels like Villa might put a dent in Arsenal's plans?

Would like to see that.  A draw or a Villa win would be nice.  Of the three up top, I want to see City prevail.

Note:  I really don't like either Arsenal or Villa, but based on the standings, hoping for Villa.  If they could both lose the game, that would be my preference.

Would love to see Everton beat Chelsea tonight.  Yeah, dopey me, I still hold out hope of finishing above those mugs.  I know they have games in hand, but one can dream.....

The Championship is Dyche's level at best. Notice he's always twitching a lot as well .

Everton in real trouble. The keeper's a liability, Tarkowski too old & one injury prone striker.

Brought back memories of AK47 wrestling the ball off Mitro for our penalty in the game against Huddersfield in December 2018 which he subsequently missed, thankfully Mitro scored in injury time to give us the victory, although we were still relegated that season.  The incident last night was obviously far worse with so many players involved!!

Ranieri was so pissed off as well. He looked at AK as if he wanted to kill him. I've never seen any of our managers be that angry at one of his own players. The post match interview was also in similar fashion.

I liked AK because he was unpredictable and I do like that in a winger, but he acted like an absolute idiot way too often and it was a good decision to get rid of him in the end.
