Title: Did no-one notice Wigan losing at home?
Post by: Scrumpy on January 25, 2011, 10:40:50 PM
OK, so Villa have knocked us down 1 position, but Wigan have just lost their game in hand on us and we're still 4 points ahead of the Relegation Zone. Anything tomorrow will be a bonus.

Yeah I spotted that, gives us a lot of hope in terms of safety this season. A win would be amazing.

I think we are more likely to finish above Blackpool than Villa or Everton, so from a purely Fulham angle both results we excellent. From what I've seen of the respective teams I'd bet that the three relegation sides will come from the current bottom five plus Blackpool.

It is also interesting to notice that Blackpool and Bolton are coming back down to the pack as WBA did over the last 5 or 6 weeks. Newcastle will also drop back into the ruck. It'll be United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Citeh, Spuds, Liverpool, Everton, and Villa with all the goodies as usual.

I watched the Wigan match on tv, they were woeful in the 2nd half. The premier division does not need them. The stadium is half empty every match. No atmosphere at all.

I still say the current bottom 3 will go.
