Lovely finish to put Derby 4 up at WBA. Good lad.

Absolutely fascinates me that lad - hopelessness and brilliance wrapped up in one Championship player.
Tonight he gave the ball away twice before giving away a penalty (not given). Hurtled across the penalty area and blocked a certain goal and immediately broke to the other end of the pitch and scored.
Bless him
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

Great buccaneering Championship full back but was found out in the Premiership...so, all in all, good business for us as we got him for nothing (OK a swop for Jazz Richards), got 2 good years in the Championship from him, and than got £7m from Huddersfield.
Always good to watch as something was bound to happen when he played

We could do with him on Saturday, I don't care what the self proclaimed purists comment about him, he is a warrior and a fighter and a character, and currently Fulham FC have nowhere near enough of the players that will bust a gut and sweat blood for their manager.
Too many milky players and lightweights who are passengers are costing us goals and points so far, but say what you like about Scott, and I would be the first to say he is not the finished article, but he is no way a lightweight.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

He did well for us in the Championship and doing well for Derby, in the championship, says it all!

I have to Disagree, I think you miss the point.
What it say is, that he will run through a brick wall for the manager and players of the team, and will come out fighting on the other side.
Some of the big time Charlie's playing for the current Fulham team, appear as though they cannot will not and have not got the heart or appetite for a fight, too much maintenance.
Whereas Scott Malone will punch his weight.
How many of the current team can say that.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Agree Woolly: Always wondered what he would be like in central defence as he has the height etc.  Possibly a bit of a loose cannon there but running thro walls, I agree.  One or two in the present set up could learn a thing or two.  Thinking central midfield.

To me the left back position has been an on going problem since Rufus Brevet left and we have only enjoyed a few short spells of relief when we have had   good players at left back.

Scott Malone served us well and did a good job at left back, I was sorry to see him leave.

Now, once again, we are struggling for a replacement at left back.

Your post made me think. It's a long time since Rufus left us and that's a long time to have gone without a settled LB.
