I'm not rejecting the loan system. I am rejecting a season long loan for a player who wasn't that great for Palace. Continuing with Kalas and Targett if that had been possible. As they knew the Club/system etc. Even buying Targett at an inflated price would of been a better option than another new face (Bryant).

I understand that Fulham wanted to buy "Anguissa, Matt Targett and Martín Montoya" on deadline day, but prices for all three players were much higher than expected so FFC got "Anguissa, Joe Bryan and TFM" instead.

TFM and Bryan havent worked out.
Christie and Odoi proved not good enough .Le Marchand tried there as well

Rumours are Anguissa cost more than FFC ever imagined, after a bidding war with other clubs and so we run out of money for full-backs. In hindsight a better option would be to go for "Norwood, Matt Targett and Martín Montoya" instead of "Anguissa, Bryan and TFM".
