Accounts logged with Companies House but cannot be viewed yet.

Brief statement on club website states losses in excess of £45m so I assume we breached FFP. Hopefully this won't bite us on the bum because, unlike Wolves, we are returning to from where we came.

Oh dear.

A points reduction or a transfer ban is the last thing we need ....

Fulham Football Leisure Limited Season 2017/18 Financial Results
Friday 29 March 2019 06:00
Fulham Football Leisure Limited has recently reported its financial results for the season 2017/18.

The Club reported a loss of £45.2m for the year ended June 2018. During this term, the Club won promotion to the Premier League through the Play-Offs, beating Aston Villa at Wembley in the Final in May 2018.

A contributing factor to this figure is the contractual one-off promotion related payments following this success on the pitch which brought a return to the top-flight of English football following a four-year absence.

I should add that they cannot be viewed online yet. Once they can, a proper analysis re FFP can be made.

I presume they are paying it back this year then.

If our stated aim was promotion, surely these bonuses would have been included in an forecasted budgets and targets? Saying they were one off doesn't mean they were unexpected.

Before our 2sackings, and multi million splurge on players we operated last season at an £865,000 per WEEK loss??
Does anyone know if loans include bonuses as well?

If losses of £45m are true for the 17/18 season, that is a very bad result.

Congrulations to Preston North End for being the highest place finisher in 17/18 that compiled with FFP.

I think FFP is a load of tosh. Basically trying to ensure that the best supported clubs who generate the most income rise to the top.

Don't forget this years £46m loss is on top of the £14.5m loss to June 2017 & the £12.9m loss to June 2016. In fact, we've made a significant loss every year as far back as I can be bothered to look.

2015 - (£27.7m)
2014 - (£33.3m)
2013 - (£2.3m)
2012 - (£18.4m)

A horrendous business performance, really really poor. Any other 'business' would have been out of business a long time ago trading like that.

We really do owe a lot to Al Fayed & the Khans for keeping us afloat.

In terms of FFP, I don't know enough about the details of how it works but if we are permitted to lose £39m over 3 years I'd suggest we start to plan for a transfer embargo/points deduction/fine, whatever they are able to throw at us may well be coming our way very soon.

Agreed, If Khan wants to spend 2 Billion on players and he takes the hit for it what's the problem as long as the club don't incur the debt!

Indeed. Wouldn't it be funny, for example, if an eccentric billionaire bought Rochdale and was able to fund them to an extent that they finished above the two Manchester clubs?
