Can't tell how the sale has gone down with lyon fans: they're either happy and glad he's gone as was a deadweight or theyre mocking their club for a firesale of certain players.

I think they may be genuinely happy to get him off their books.

One commented saying it's unlikely we'll resell for over 10m euros.

One of the other players they seem to be commenting as wanting off their books is bertrand traore who seems to be another player we're looking at.

Feel like mino raiola is taking TK to the cleaners and 'has his number' if true.

I think its great to see players who want to be here as opposed to last time we had players like Schurrle who didnt...

Well Lyon clearly valued his services because they made him a farewell video and posted it on Twitter. I for one am excited about this signing, he's a solid RB and strong in the tackle and he's played at a good level over the last few seasons.

Also can we stop on every single signing analysing what the fans of their former club are saying, most football fans are driven by passion rather than reason and it's an awful barometer of how good a player actually is

Doesn't seem to matter who are rumoured or who are actually signed, someone has to do the downer!
Rarely see posts that agree and welcome rumours and/or signings on here!

Watching an early round Champions League match between Lyon and Leipzig.    When not in possession Tete has a habit of playing very narrow when going back on defense.   

He's got talent.   Very relaxed when he plays.   Not sure if that is a good or a bad thing.


I really like Lyon's CB (Denayer).   Good pace, nice instinctual defender.   A more athletic Big Hec.  (And he just makes a mistake that almost cost them a goal ) :022:

Still, he's the kind of CB we need.

Anyway...I like Tete.  A better defender than our current RBs.   I just hope his positional awareness is good.   He really likes to play high up the pitch...but that may be by design.   Dubois (who also plays the RB position for Lyon) also plays pretty high.
