Once again he shows he doesn't really care, if he is representing Fulham, then there should be nothing other than Fuhlam on display, instead we are shown Jacksonville Jaguars on the right, once again you can see he's just haphazardly set up a TV with Fulham on it, imagine if this was a relationship and he/she has other pictures of lovers to be seen during video chat... he's clueless.

What a pathetic post, you really want him to remodel his office for you? Get a grip
Nothing pathetic about commenting upon a computer guy, and supposed 'professional', setting up his video with a prepared Fulham FC backdrop that would take him all of a minute to achieve.  The only really pathetic thing is that some people don't think before they write.
Perhaps not pathetic but  certainly nit picking.  A bit like saying someone doesn't think much of Friends of Fulham because their spelling is incorrect or grammar poor.

You can choose not to believe it but it's not contradictory.

Deals that you wanted to do falling through does not preclude Anderson falling into your lap at the last minute after you had written the possibility off (and hence moved onto the other targets you wanted to sign).

It precludes the cause of the delay being us waiting for Anderson. So yes it's contradictory.

Don't see any issue what so ever in connecting the Jags with Fulham, it's free advertising and prob better than having betting companies pictured in the background.  Bit pathetic to have a go at this.

I voted recently for TK out in the poll but that was based on him living permanently so far away from his job and his multi job roles.  He has many good qualities, incl enthusiasm which I suspect does rub off on those around him and the support he will get from his Dad.

At the end of the day, if we were to keep most players signed on perm deals, say goodbye to the loan players and sell Auguissa and maybe one or two others, we will still have a very good base of young first team players, far better than last time to build again and do a Leeds.  Teams like Wolves and Leeds spent a long time in the championship or lower before finally making it, when they got promoted they did so as Champions and we're better equipped to kick on.  Villa took a while to get back up and got lucky last season, they have now kicked on.  All 3 of these are big clubs, without the
Khans money we are a mid Championship Club.  The new stand and continued investment gives us the chance to kick on and become a bigger club and potentially again a Premier League regular but remember the Championship is littered with clubs as least our size struggling.

We are where we are due to Alfayed's money and now the Khans money.  Without that I suspect we would be playing Shrewsbury and Arrington Stanley.

I suggest you re-watch the video.

The discussion of Anderson followed the interviewer's request for TK to explain why our business is generally done at the end of the window.

TK essentially attrubuted this to the general nature of the market, which is already controversial because this is an issue that affects Fulham more than most clubs, but anyway...

He gave two examples. The first was how Mitrovic became available in the last few hours of the window, which is also questionable because it implies our strategy isn't to do anything in the rest of the window and just to hope something totally unpredictable, like another club's deal for a player known personally to the manager falling through at the last minute, falls into our lap. But again I digress...

He then gives the example of how we had to wait to sign our "top target" Anderson because Lyon weren't prepared to do business until the final days of the window, and we were waiting on that.

I can type exact quotes if necessary but it should be clear from a simple re-watch of the video and intelligent analysis that this whole section just didn't make sense and was seemingly an attempt to fob off fans with some clichés that will satisfy those who aren't really paying attention.

You should probably check those quotes and your reading comprehension.

In this video the Anderson example is him explaining how prices change at the last minute.

You're well within your rights to question the content of this video (on FFP) and the last video (a broader discussion of transfer challenges). It may all be bullpoo after all, but nothing in the two videos is contradictory.

In this video the Anderson example is him explaining how prices change at the last minute.

I can't tell whether you're unwilling (ie obstinate) or unable (mentally) to get your head around this but either way I'll make this my last post on Anderson.

Here's what TK said in the video:

"We had been looking to add defenders... but the problem was, we wanted to get the best people, the best people were not available, and I wasn't ready to give up on them. In the case of Anderson, he was a top, top target for us, and we had other people lined up in case he couldn't come, but within a couple of days [of the deadline] he was still not available... And we kept calling back, calling back, and 36 hours out, we were at a £5m loan fee... but with out FFP situation I couldn't in good conscience do that... I really care about investing in the squad and if it's going to be the best player that gives us the best chance... then I'm going to do it, but in this case the difference in the money from what we were talking about was so far apart that it was worth the fight, and it was also worth waiting to get the player in."

This is what TK said in September:

https://twitter.com/TonyKhan/status/1310651415442882562?s=20

It is absolutely not consistent to explain our delay signing Anderson by saying he was "the best player that gives us the best chance" and we were "waiting to get the player in" and "not ready to give up on [him]", when actually we we had deals for 3-4 other CBs fall through in the meantime for reasons beyond our control. Either we didn't sign those other CBs because they got Covid, or we didn't sign them because Anderson was better and we were waiting for Anderson. You cannot have it both ways.

Good day

Good day
The only 'waiting' he is referring to in the video - is the 36 hours which saw the price/structure of a deal change in a way that was workable for FFP purposes. You're are reading into the video the wider 'waiting' issue - which he is not directly addressing.

If it is true, a strategy that goes "Start with Anderson, other things fall through, get lucky with Anderson at the last minute" is not one you would want to rely on or repeat.

But neither are his statements contradictory.

As I said already, the exact question he's addressing is

"Tony, we've seen in recent windows that quite a lot of business is done towards the end of the window, which people often question. Could you just give some insight as to why that is the case sometimes."
