One positive about Maja is that he is a natural striker.

He just has that knack, that predatory instinct to be in the right place at the right time.

For the first goal, the way he peeled his run towards the back post for Aina to square it was natural for a striker, and someone like Cav (who has filled in admirably at times in an unfamiliar role) probably wouldn't have done.

And for the second goal, as all quality strikers do, he EXPECTED the rebound to come to him (whether it be off the woodwork or a parry from the goalie) and got himself in the right spot.

2 goals that a poacher like Ruud van Nistelrooy would be happy with.

Good point FFC Oz about the second goal.  Loved seeing the two defenders stood like statues when two of our players anticipated the rebound.
