People deal with things in their own way, and so be it.

Personally I haven't laid a bet since I was 18, don't buy lottery tickets, sweepstakes either, so it's not something that I would even consider, everyone to their own devices for me.

I've watched every game this season, either 'live' or, when unable to see it 'live', I have avoided all SM and watched it with the missus the first available opportunity. I don't like to miss any games and I never read the plot of a movie before watching it, however predictable it might be, somewhat like watching Fulham this season.

Yes, there have been plenty of disappointments this season, but almost every Fulham fan can point to dozens way back long before this season (I recall when Cookie was the butt of abuse game after game), or for that matter, before the EPL was even somebody's dream, it just doesn't seem any different for that, the only real difference is now, with SM, people get the chance to vent their disappointment, and  sometimes, vitriol at players, coaches, staff and owners (though never the tea lady) at a moments notice, rather than in the pub that night, but that's 'progress' for ya!
