How the hell

A potential leg breaker and should have been a straight red , especially if Tosin's was, or  Wilson earlier this season.

Salonke on Wilson a clear pen- don't agree that it was soft and he went down too easily - Salonke took his legs away, and don't see how he couldn't go down.

Whilst "in the modern game" (as they say), Bournemouth could have received a red card for the challenge on Kebano and we could have had a penalty for Solanke's tap on Wilson's shin,  I don't think either should have been given. Re the tackle on Kebano, their player did not slide in from distance with force.  He was almost stationary by the time his foot came up a fraction, as part of natural movement.  It was not a tackle that could have seriously injured Kebano.  I would have been fuming had one of our players been sent off for something like that (and Seri made a similar challenge in the second half, as did Joe Bryan). As for the penalty, yes, "there was contact", but I dislike the modern trend for giving penalties for any contact. Harry didn't need to leap up theatrically and hurl himself to the ground.  In truth, he was not really impeded for what was minimal contact.

So, we did not get the rub of the green by modern standards, but I would rather not see penalties and red cards being given for incidents like these.

The ref must have left his pack of red cards at home and and brought two sets of yellows by mistake. He seemed to be showing yellows all of the game.

I agree neither would I. The thing is though if the laws of the game change it should be the same for everyone, and not just The elite. We should have VAR at the level we are to correct any poor decisions

I think you are right on the red (non red card). He was nudged by a Fulham player and there was no force in the tackle. If given it would not have been surprising, but in a game of this magnitude I can see why the ref would leave it as a yellow.

I think there were two pens in the game though. That is where I have a problem with Robinson. Solanke is beat on the change of direction and he kicks Wilson but not the ball. That's a penalty. Cahill's elbow is way out from his body and stops the ball from going in the net. Hands on your hips is not a natural position. It is a position intending to make your body bigger on the line. With VAR I think those both become penalties.

I agree that the laws of the game should be applied in the same way for everyone, although my way of achieving that would be to remove VAR from all levels of the game. But that's another discussion.

I didn't see the Boscombe game, who were they playing?

I haven't yet seen any of the incidents again so I cannot say whether I agree with your interpretation of the events involving Kebano and Wilson, but I do agree wholeheartedly with the sentiment of your post.

I was fine with yellow on the Kebano tackle. There was no force or violent intent.

Wilson's was a penalty, and I'd say with VAR, Mitro getting rugby tackled on a header also was a penalty.

Didn't see too much that was to bad to be honest?

A few definitely went against us (as I'm sure bourenmouth will say), but it was no worse than the regular stuff at this level.

The penalty of couse should have been given.
There wasn't a bad foul the entire game but plenty of cynical fouls which would have got yellow cards on another day. A few of the Bournemouth players took one for the team and fortunately got away with it. A foul on Harry Wilson when he was breaking away in the first half was a classic case and again in the second half. Both fouls were in the Bournemouth half and we were attacking, not even sure the ref gave  foul for the second one, but the player may have already been booked and he bottled it as he did for the penalty, which was a stone wall foul.
