It's either he leaves now and we get some money for him and keep him on loan till the end of the season or he leaves on a free at the end of the season. Don't see how people can be disappointed. He's leaving one way or another, he's made that obvious.

This is exactly it.  Dissapointing but he clearly had made up his mind that he was off and almost certainly tapped up and promised crazy money which he clearly thinks is more important to him than being a Fulham star.
Why aren't we giving him crazy money

Very strange that suddenly the loan back for the season was the reason it fell through. Surely Liverpool knew that was going to be a compulsory part of the deal from the beginning...

Excellent
Anything better then letting him go to that cheat of a club!
If he's not happy about it - tough

I found that strange too. Crystal Palace did the same thing with that kid from Derby and there were no problems or "complications".

Hope he goes to Bayern or somewhere in the summer. Couldnt give a sh1t about a couple million

I mean, ultimately I guess he goes there and we get a tribunal fee but well played FFC for sticking to our guns that he would not leave us in this window even if it meant losing few mill.

Worse case scenario - player upset, we have no money and no neco Williams.

+ Carvalho Will start pulling out of challenges towards the end of the season to save his legs

My only fear, if it is truly off, is that he will have a bad attitude and won't give it his all.  Hopefully he remains professional and true to the promotion cause.
Anyone can blend into the crowd.  How will you standout when it counts?

Delighted. The transfer fee was pennies by PL standards. We'll make it many times over if we are promoted.
Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Somerset Fulham

He'll have a deal sorted out to join the Mickey Mousers tomorrow morning.

He won't drop off, he's got a seriously good employer to impress.

Oakeshott

Fav has every incentive to play his socks off for the rest of the season.

If he continues to impress, we go up, and he can't be persuaded to stay, he be free to go wherever it suits him, and the world is certainly a great deal bigger than Liverpool!

StuinSalop

Something a bit odd here.  If Liverpool really wanted him that badly surely they would not be arguing over a few extra million a d now they have not got him.  I wonder if we dragged it out on purpose to stitch them up after what they did with the Elliott fee or maybe they were just not that concerned about signing him at all.  So in the end, Silva was right, Fab is still a Fulham player and who know, when we get promoted he may change his mind and sign, or maybe he will sign earlier,, football is a funny old game.
