Cracking game. Eriksen is sublime. Cannot believe that Everton have not pushed forward at all in the second half.

I've never cheered for Brentford before.  It feels weird.

Great game though.

Presumably their luck will run out next year when VAR decides to turn against them. Could easily have conceded 2 penalties before the 3rd that was given against them.

Rondon only on the pitch for 3 minutes before sent off
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

Eriksen is such a joy to watch. Class act on and off the pitch. Cannot fathom what Everton were thinking at times today. Madness from Rondon.
Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Completely agree, although hoping Everton would win. Could never cheer on Brentford and have an Everton supporting mate.

Brentford are a class act, their players didn't dwell on the ball, passed it around effortlessly. A very, very good performance.

Not sure Lampard will make it in coaching. Team tactics are awful, discipline meltdown and players seem unsure of what they are supposed to be doing. A huge effort needed to survive which might result in more red cards.

The visitors third goal caught my eye because Henry started moving just before the ball was crossed very precisely to where he would head it home.  Real quality play.

For a while it was a tight game but Everton just went from bad to worse on a steady declining slope after the perfect start they had.

The key message should of been 'stay on the pitch'. Reckless by their players.

Leeds look very 'vulnerable'.

Baszab

Nice touch to hear of  the Everton fans racially abusing some Brentford players' families and making heart attack gestures to Eriksen

Plus their on field thuggery and Richarlison's diving - and Lampard's dinosaur defensive tactics

Relegation couldn't happen to a nicer club

Unfortunately I think Burnley look the most doomed of the three clubs down there. I'd be quite happy for either of Leeds or Everton to sink, but I'm not sure Burnley will get more than 1 more point from their final 2 fixtures, and may get none. That late point for Leeds will probably give them the boost for their final game away at Brentford. Some interesting matches coming up.

Out of Leeds, Burnley, and Everton, Leeds going down would be the worst result.

Based on how badly Burnley are run from the owners, as well as Everton, I'd presume its to do with this?

Entertainment value I guess. I think everyone is curious as to what it would be like for a club like Everton to get relegated. Burnley going down would remove the most boring team to plague the league for a long time. Leeds going down isn't remarkable in any way. I feel like they're also the team we could best compete against to avoid relegation.
