Actually, I was wrong. It was after Keegan had sacked Wilkins for being too cautious and had instructed the team to all out attack with the result that Paul Moody got sent off in the first (home) leg.

This was a brilliant radio programme. The script writers and Kenneth Williams made it so. As an aside I'm full of useless information...I fo8und out later that Kenneth Horne was also chairman of Chad Valley Toys.

50 quid for non-league....... wow. Think I paid about 46 for our game against Villa

Cant be certain, but 95% sure that for the season just ended Kings Lynn of the national league (think they got relegated) were charging around £40-£45 for match day tickets this season and maybe their ST price was north of £600
