Shame if he has done that. He is a good level PL defender- not better than Diop though. I highly doubt he'll go on to play for any of the bigger clubs.

I would expect the club to get £15m for him- given he's got 18 months left on his contract.

On a separate note, getting Robinson to sign an extension is key

That's football, players come and go. Tosin is decent, but isn't pulling up any trees so I wouldn't be gutted if he left, so long as we get a decent fee (profit made as I recall we got him for a very low amount). Also we need a good replacement in unless Duffy is kept on loan. Happy with Ream and Diop as first choice pairing.

Smacks of low ambition to me. We are in the European places and he's not cracking the side. Any move he makes will be a sideways one as I doubt any of the big clubs are interested. Monaco and the French league is certainly no step up...

You'd think he'd reckon Ream's spot is there for the taking and be fighting hard to get it. Possibly even in Europe next season too

Again, he's removed it now. Could easily be he and a few of the guys were laughing at it today and liked it. Could be he's angling for a move but who knows.

Why so quick to jump down a player's throat? He may not be starting currently, but was a key player in our promotion last year and has proven himself capable at this level. If he goes, I'll be disappointed but that's football.

Everyone can be misinformed (whether it is you or Deeping White or both), but is there really a need to immediately start a thread slating one of our players at the very first opportunity? Claims like the one in the OP can spread quite fast, whether substantiated or not.

What could have been done instead is to start a thread as a discussion ("did anyone see this?", "Can someone confirm?") and to also maybe consider whether there are more possible interpretations (maybe he laughed at it, as some suggested?). Just a suggestion on how to create a better discussion and a more pleasant online environment.

I don't care what Tosin tweets but if he doesn't sign a new contract soon then he has to be sold. Sell Tosin for £12-15m now and buy a £20m centre back now rather than waiting to sell/buy on Summer Deadline Day 2023.
