Steven Davis has, after a career which seemed to last forever, announced his retirement.
An absolute diamond of a player at Villa, Southampton, Rangers and N.Ireland (record 140 caps).
Brought to Fulham by Sanchez, who then proceeded to misuse him, which is why he failed to make his mark here.
I'll miss tuning in to a Soton, Rangers or N.Ireland game and thinking, "Blimey, is he still playing?" and then, "Good, isn't he?"

Hope he enjoys his retirement, although he is sure to be in demand for a managerial/coaching role.

Definitely has a bright future in managing or coaching if that's what he wants.
