The new Mitro?? Good find Lighthouse. I noticed a lot of players wearing pink boots!?! Probably influenced by the Barbie movie...
Nick Bateman "knows his footie"

Steeeeeeeeeed

He looks like Rylan Clarke from This Morning.

Quote from: Sting of the North on February 02, 2024, 03:16:58 PMAll this talk about Broja having to start is only looking from a purely financial perspective. If he doesn't start enough, we just pay a little more. Marco will play the team he think gives us the best chance. Much more important than whether or not we pay a little more to Chelsea.

Actually it is looking at the alternatives to him not starting which is Muniz. Not sure the financial side comes into anybodies thinking at the moment.

Well, if you read the thread and the posts before mine, you'll find that there are several posters suggesting that he should start because of the financial side, hence my post. So obviously some are indeed thinking it.

True but he has to male an exception here . Broja is fit and the alternatives are few and far between. I'd rather take the risk of a striker not 'knowing all the calls' than others who do but have shown they can't find the net. (Plus he has to play 10 (is it). Why not start now. For all we know he and Jimenez playing the 10 role, might be a productive partnership

Are the stipulations he has to START 10 games or just play 10 games, would 10 sub appearances be enough?

Surely it must be START 10 games, otherwise you could take the mickey and just bring him on in the 89th minute to honour the agreement?!

I believe its 10 starts AND X total minutes played.

Haven't seen any reference to the actual nr of minutes he needs to play, but I would guess it's something like 700.

He has to start as my granny isnt fit for Saturday as she died 40 years ago

Imagine he could be a bit nervous on his first day with his new teammates - all probably wondering 'how good is he? what can he do? - is he the goal- scoring cf we've been needing?!'

Snibbo

Start Muniz. Give Broja 45-60 mins on the bench to watch how we play, throw him on at 60-70 mins unless Muniz has suddenly turned into the next Haaland. And it might just spur Muniz into action in which case keep him on until the last 10.

I think it's start so he's got too be in plus Muniz hasn't warranted a start with his performances so far.

You can see Willian trains to win
And Tosin, did anyone spot him arguing with someone when he had to go in the circle?

Woolly Mammoth

If Fulham wish to give themselves the best chance of winning today.
For playing reasons and for no particular other reason he should start.

Unless of course some bright spark thinks he needs resting.

South Coast White

He has to start, can't be any worse than the other options.

Pavel Dempsey

I would start with this team:

Leno

Tete Tosin Ream Robinson

Cairney Palhinha

Willian Pereira Ballo-Toure

Broja

Beamer

Quite amused by the 'play Muniz so as not to dent his confidence' view. If he has any confidence at present he must be seriously deluded.
Having said that if he does play I hope he gets a hat-trick.

Fulham 442

I can't see any alternative to Broja starting.  Vini has gone, Muniz couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo and Raul is injured....Anyone know how long he is likely to be out for?

hovewhite

I have just read that he wasn't cleared in time to play.

That is true and maybe a passing resemblance to Mitro. It augurs well.

The i paper has him starting.  I hope they're right.

That's interesting - I've often thought both Castagne and Balo Toure have played in midfield yet Marco never uses them there
