Fulham considering Teden Mengi swoop
Fulham will reportedly look to sign 22-year-old English defender Teden Mengi from Luton Town in the summer transfer window.

According to a report by The Athletic, Teden Mengi is the subject of interest from Fulham. The Cottagers are keen on signing a centre-back in the summer transfer window after losing Tosin Adarabioyo as a free agent. The 22-year-old Luton Town defender has thus emerged as a target for the West London club.

Teden Mengi and his career so far
Teden Mengi finally found a stable footing in his professional career after joining Luton Town from Manchester United last summer. A native of Manchester United, the youngster spent his formative years with the Red Devils, with the coaches in their academy rating him highly.

However, regular game time with the first team eluded Mengi, and he had to suffice with attaining that during loan spells at Derby County and Birmingham City FC. So, the move to Luton Town last summer was the right decision for him, even though the Hatters failed to evade relegation from the Premier League.

Mengi was a mainstay at the back for Luton Town, turning out 35 times across all competitions while chipping in with one goal. The Englishman's performances made him one of the standout performers for the Hatters before they went down to the EFL Championship. Meanwhile, Mengi's progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of Fulham.

Premier League return on the horizon?
Fulham's interest in Teden Mengi is understandable. The Cottagers are losing Tosin Adarabioyo as a free agent in the summer transfer window, with the 26-year-old on the verge of joining Chelsea in a Bosman move. In addition, Tim Ream is approaching the final phase of his career.

So, it behoves Fulham to invest in a centre-back in the summer transfer window. Several candidates, including Trevoh Chalobah, have emerged on the West London club's radar. However, Mengi is also a viable target, as he can be a long-term solution at the heart of the defence.

The 22-year-old will unlikely cost a bomb, considering Luton Town's relegated status. So, it will be interesting to see if Fulham can seal an acceptable deal for the former Manchester United defender in the summer transfer window.

How much Arsenal could sell Emile Smith Rowe for after claims Fulham want to sign him
Arsenal are expected to receive plenty of offers for Emile Smith Rowe this summer, with Fulham, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace all linked with a move to sign him.

The Gunners' focus will be on incomings as they look to finally get past Manchester City in the 2024/25 Premier League title race.

However, a number of players could leave Arsenal too, and Smith Rowe is one of them. He is of interest to several clubs in the Premier League and abroad.

How much Arsenal can sell Emile Smith Rowe for this summer
Emile Smith Rowe is a fan favourite at Arsenal.

The Englishman was a star when he first broke through under Mikel Arteta. He, along with Bukayo Saka, was the biggest positive during the Gunners' rebuild.

Saka has gone on to become a superstar, but injuries have really stalled Smith Rowe's career.

The Hale End graduate missed most of the 2022/23 season due to a groin issue and barely played in the following campaign as well – Arteta preferred other players.

That has led to reports that Arsenal could sell him, and Fulham are one of the clubs interested in signing Smith Rowe this summer.

TBR Football exclusively revealed that Brentford, Brighton, Wolves and Crystal Palace are also keeping an eye on the midfielder's situation at Arsenal.

Unai Emery's Aston Villa are said to be interested in Smith Rowe as are Serie A giants Napoli, who are ready to accept the Arsenal man in a player-plus-cash swap deal for Victor Osimhen.

The big question for the Gunners now, if they decide to sell him, is to figure out the right price. Journalist Dean Jones has shared that the Gunners can hope for £35 million, but £30 million will likely be the starting point.

He told GiveMeSport: "In terms of value, he's a tricky one to gauge because he is easily a £40million player, but because of his lack of game time, that figure might be hard to hit.

"Arsenal could certainly hope for £35million, but I think we might be looking at £30million as a starting point when offers are landing."

Arsenal could break club record with Smith Rowe
Arsenal are arguably the worst sellers among the big clubs in the Premier League.

The Gunners, in their entire history, have sold just four players for a fee of more than £25 million – Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona, Folarin Balogun to Moncao, Alex Iwobi to Everton and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool.

The last on the list above is their record sale – that stands at just £35 million (Arsenal Insider).

Jones has claimed above that Arsenal can hope for £35 million for Smith Rowe. If the Gunners can find a way to get a little more than that, they will break their sale record this summer.

However, history shows that the Gunners are terrible sellers, which is a bad sign ahead of the start of the summer transfer window.

Harvey Araujo and George Wickens have been offered new contracts.

We would like to thank all of Fulham's departing players for their efforts over the years, and wish them the best of luck in their next chapters.

Fulham's longest serving player in terms of his arrival, Rodák joined our Academy in the 2012/13 and went on to enjoy considerable success across several teams.

In his first full season at the Club, Rodák was a member of the only Fulham Under-18s side to reach the FA Youth Cup Final, where they were narrowly defeated by Chelsea across two legs.

After securing winners medals in the league with the 18s and Dallas Cup at Under-19 level, Rodák enjoyed several impressive loan spells, including a promotion to the Championship with Rotherham United.

It was the 2019/20 campaign where Rodák established himself in the First Team setup at Craven Cottage, featuring 39 times across all competitions as the Whites won promotion via a Wembley Play-Off Final victory over Brentford.

Rodák added a second Premier League promotion to his CV two years later, starting 35 times as Marco Silva's side won the Championship title.

He departs with 93 Fulham appearances to his name.

Tosin joined the Club on deadline day at the start of the 2020/21 season, and quickly established himself as a key member of Scott Parker's side.

While that campaign ended in disappointment, the following year was far more prosperous, with Tosin named in the PFA & EFL Teams of the Season as Fulham won the league.

He continued to be a regular presence in our backline as the team comfortably secured Premier League safety in each of the subsequent two campaigns.

Tosin also chipped in with his share of goals, scoring five times in his 132 matches.

Tyrese Francois came through the Fulham Academy before going on to represent the First Team on 11 occasions, while Terence Kongolo made four appearances across two spells at the Club.

What was behind our second half of the season resurgence?

This season has certainly had its fair share of highs and lows. From reaching a semi-final to only taking one point off Burnley, inconsistency has been a key theme. Despite these fluctuations, Fulham fans can be satisfied in finishing 13th with a successful cup run. The recent post, made by the Premier League, shows the stark contrast between the first and second half of the season. In the first half, we languished in 14th, just six points off the relegation zone, while in the second half we gained momentum, sitting four places higher with four more points. So what were the reasons behind the uptick in performance?

The striker conundrum

There were always lingering doubts about how The Whites would perform after Saudi Arabia nicked our star striker. Our striking options were a recurring issue throughout the season as our options have big boots to fill. After all, our Serbian talisman scored 111 goals in 206 appearances. Marco stated that Rodrigo Muniz was planned to be the first-choice striker from the beginning, however, this was not the case as he suffered a knee injury in pre-season, leaving us with Raul Jimenez and Carlos Vinicius.

Goals did not fly in the same fashion as they did the season prior. We scored just nine goals in our first 10 games in comparison to 16 at the same point the previous season. Muniz had recovered yet Silva still started Raul, perhaps trusting he would find his feet. As Jimenez started most of the games, he had unfair expectations despite only coming in as a backup to Mitro. The problem was that we were trying to play the same style of football as we did with Mitro when we had a different style striker. Jimenez only found the back of the net after 11 games – against Aston Villa – but was still favoured over Vini who got on the scoresheet seven games earlier, against Luton. From this point he seems to have built up a bit of confidence, with improved hold-up play and more composure.

Muniz didn't get too much game time (57 minutes before his first start), coming on periodically, but providing a lot of energy to the team. Vinicius was only really treated as a sub and, even though he had a better goals/90 minutes ratio of 0.6 compared to Raul's 0.37, he was still shipped off to Galatasaray as Muniz was putting in positive performances and Jimenez was excelling. While Vini was neglected, Jimenez's form improved as he scored four goals in four games including one against our first big six scalp – Arsenal. It took Raul getting a red card against Newcastle and a hamstring injury for Muniz to get a start. On Rodrigo's third start, he managed his first ever Premier League goal against Burnley and no one could have predicted his form after this. A starboy had emerged and Fulham had finally found some consistency up front as the Brazilian scored eight goals in eight games, earning the March Player of the Month award. Only two Fulham players managed this previously.

Our persistent striker problem was solved late on in the season. The reason why Muniz found more success was because he had more similar attributes to Mitrovic, such as strength and aerial presence. Fulham's improved creativity and adaptation without the Serbian was a key reason as to why we achieved much higher in the latter stages of the season.

Defensive tweaks

We had issues at the other end of the pitch too. Injuries and international breaks disrupted our defensive stability, leading to no fewer than 11 different centre-back pairings. Tim Ream and Calvin Bassey were arguably our strongest defenders, however, with them both being left-footed, it meant they didn't pair well together. Many will remember the Spurs away game where Bassey's errors led to both goals conceded caused by him trying to clear it on his right foot as he was playing on the right-hand side. This partnership lacked chemistry but nothing else could be done as Tosin was injured for the majority of the start and Issa Diop ended up injured too.

These graphs clearly show how this partnership was not sustainable by having the second worst points per game (0.6) and the worst goals conceded per game (2.5). In fairness, they did face tough opponents such as Villa, Spurs and United, but so did Bassey and Tosin – our best partnership. With Bassey being so composed and Diop becoming unreliable, Bassey and Tosin were the optimal choice. In each of our victories over three of the big six, these were the impermeable centre-backs. Their points per game record is undeniably the best and they also earned 51% of points in the whole season while only having played 37% of the season as a pair. Some 75% of these points were earned in the second period of the season. Before facing City at home, Fulham had conceded the third least number of goals in 2024. This clearly shows how much of a crucial role they played defensively and how key sorting out our back line was to our success in the latter stages of the season.

Extra-curricular distractions

Fulham's historic run to the Carabao Cup semi-final, the first in club history, likely affected our early Premier League form as Silva treated each cup game with equal importance. The intense focus on these cup matches led to at least one subsequent league loss, as seen after our nailbiting penalty shootout victory over Everton where we dropped points to Burnley and Bournemouth in the following games. Once we were out of both the Carabao and FA cup, the Premier League was all that was left to focus on explaining why we saw more success towards the end of the season.

Marco Silva's strategic acumen was crucial to our turnaround. Despite receiving a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia, his commitment to Fulham was evident and this season proved why he is so essential. Some might say he is a genius. He has brought out the best in all our players as he so often does. We saw the rise of Sasa Lukic as he gained confidence after his first goal against Spurs, and most notably the emergence of Muniz. It's not just individuals; he influenced the team as a whole too. Silva is the mastermind behind sorting this out through solving our striking issues, our back line, and the development of players throughout the season. Through the combination of all these factors, it is no surprise as to why we performed much higher in the second half of the season.

Fulham release Rodak and nine others
Fulham have confirmed that they have released Marek Rodak after eleven years with the club.

The Slovakian international goalkeeper leaves Craven Cottage in search of first-team football having been supplanted by Bernd Leno since the German custodian's arrival from Arsenal two summers ago. Fulham's short statement on their official website is the first official confirmation that Tosin Adarabioyo will play elsewhere next season. The 26 year-old centre back had a medical with Chelsea earlier this week ahead of a Bosman move along the Fulham Road.

Australian midfielder Tyrese Francois is also on the released list alongside Terence Kongolo, who made just four appearances in four years at the club. Right back Luciano D'Auria-Henry and George Okkas, key members of Fulham's successful under-21 side in recent seasons, are also looking for new clubs as well as Caelan Avenall and Ma'kel Bogle-Campbell. Armando Broja and Fode Ballo-Toure have returned their parent sides after underwhelming loan spells.

Fulham remain in negotiations with Willian and Bobby De Cordova-Reid over extensions to their current deals and have offered contracts to goalkeeper George Wickens, who spent the second half of last season with Ross County as the Staggies preserved their Premiership status, and defender Harvey Araujo.

Celtic target 'will sign' for new club with West Ham and Fulham also keen
Celtic have the chance to bolster their ranks over the next couple of months

Celtic target Fotis Ioannidis from Panathinaikos is closing in on a move to Sporting Lisbon.

That's according to a report by Foot Mercato, who claim the striker 'will sign' for the club in Portugal this summer ahead of next season.

Ioannidis, who is 24-years-old, has been linked with a switch to Celtic in the upcoming transfer window as they hunt for signings under Brendan Rodgers. They won the Scottish Premiership title once again in this past campaign ahead of rivals Rangers, as well as winning the Scottish Cup.

However, the Hoops are keen to freshen up their ranks and bring in some new faces to ensure that they can push for trophies once again next year. In addition, they want some more quality in their squad to make themselves more competition in Europe.

They will need to look at alternative options up top though with Ioannidis appearing to be on his way to Sporting Lisbon. The Portuguese giants landed Viktor Gyokeres from Coventry City 12 months ago and he has since been a hit with his current club so they will be hoping their potential new addition can follow in his footsteps.

Celtic had Norwich City forward Adam Idah on loan during the second-half of last season after he linked up with them in the January transfer window. He scored nine goals for Rodgers' side but has now gone back to Carrow Road and it remains to be seen whether he will be heading back up the border.

The Hoops aren't the only team to be credited with an interest in Ioannidis over recent times. According to a report by The Sun, Premier League pair West Ham and Fulham were said to be eyeing a potential swoop to try and tempt him to go to London.

The Greece international, who has scored two goals in 10 games for his country to date, joined Panathinaikos in 2020 from Levadiakos as a youngster and has since been a key player for the Greek giants over the last four years.

He has scored 40 times in 142 outings and found the net on 23 occasions in the last campaign which has seen him emerge on the radar of other teams such as Celtic.

Rodgers has recently explained what lies in store for his side on the recruitment front over the next couple of months and said: "I've always said about adding quality to the squad. There's going to be a natural change in the summer.

"Some of the players will have been here for three years and if you look at the cycle at Celtic, then there is normally that change in that third year.

"It's getting another step in the types of profile I would want within the squad to allow us to progress and develop.

"But this season, I've been really proud of the team and come the summer, we'll look to add those bits of quality. We've got the likes of Joe [Hart], who is retiring so we have to fill that void as well.

"But it's a really bright future, we have to take that into pre-season and then we'll look to fly from the beginning of next season."

Fulham look to have better chance at signing than Leeds United – €8-10m move on the cards
Fulham appear to be ahead of Leeds United in the race for VfB Stuttgart winger Silas, with a potential €8-10m deal on the cards.

That's according to BILD, who say there is a deal there to be done and Marco Silva's side are currently out in front.

They explain that Silas mostly played a substitute role for Stuttgart last season and is thinking about leaving this summer as a result.

There is great interest in him, with Villarreal, Fulham, Auxerre, and Lens all interested and Leeds putting him on a list of players to watch too.

Stuttgart are willing to talk if they can get a transfer fee of between €8-10m, although it's not made clear if any of the interested parties would be willing to pay that.

Fulham would certainly be more comfortable doing so than Leeds, whose well documented financial issues will presumably make any purchases of any size difficult this summer before players are sold to help balance their books.

Thus, Marco Silva's side would be out in front of their English counterparts for now and would perhaps be wise to move at this point before Leeds, or any of the other interested parties, start making concrete moves.

Exclusive: Game over for Fulham star as contract talks collapse; Leeds, Everton lurk for free-transfer raid
Fulham attacker Bobby Decordova-Reid is set to leave the club on a free transfer after contract talks stalled, TEAMtalk can exclusively reveal.

His current deal expires later this month, and sources say that Fulham have offered the former Bristol City man a new two-year contract.

However, those negotiations have failed to reach an agreement between parties and Decordova-Reid is ready to depart Craven Cottage and explore his options as a free agent.

The 31-year-old has established himself as a key man in Marco Silva's side with his versatility seeing him play in numerous positions for the team.

Decordova-Reid is capable of playing anywhere in the forward positions as well as a right-back when required.

He made 41 appearances in all competitions for Fulham last season, chipping in with seven goals and four assists in the process.

Losing Decordova-Reid on a free transfer would come as another blow to Fulham after seeing Tosin Adarabioyo run down his contract to leave for free ahead of a move to Chelsea.

The 31-year-old, who joined Fulham in August 2019 on loan from Cardiff City, before the move was made permanent in January 2020, has made 209 appearances for the West London club.

Everton, Leeds keeping an eye on Fulham star
TEAMtalk understands that Decordova-Reid could be of interest to Everton and Leeds United this summer due to their financial situation and need to sign a new winger.

Everton have parted ways with Arnaut Danjuma following his underwhelming season-long loan from Villarreal and the Dutchman will need replacing.

They are also in talks with Leeds over another loan for Jack Harrison and are confident of getting a deal done, but could certainly do with more cover in that area.

As things stand, Dwight McNeil and youngster Lewis Dobbin are Sean Dyche's only options in wide areas.

Everton's sporting director Kevin Thelwell has already admitted that the club will have to focus on free transfers and loans this summer and therefore Decordova-Reid could be an option.

As for Leeds, they will likely be forced into the sale of both Crysencio Summerville and Wilfried Gnonto this summer after failing to win promotion to the Premier League.

Jaidon Anthony has also returned to Bournemouth following his loan, leaving a void in Daniel Farke's squad.

It will be interesting to see if Everton or Leeds launch a concrete offer for Decordova-Reid in the coming weeks. They are not the only clubs keeping tabs on his situation, however.

Everton ready to pounce as Bobby Decordova-Reid set to leave Fulham as free agent
Everton are targeting a move for Fulham's Bobby Decordova-Reid this summer, according to TEAMtalk.

The online source reported [5 June] that the 31-year-old is set to become a free agent after contract talks with the Cottagers stalled, leaving the Toffees with an opportunity for a free signing.

It is understood that Everton are joined by Leeds United in the quest to secure Decordova-Reid's signature this summer, both experiencing their respective financial difficulties.

Everton to target Bobby Decordova-Reid free transfer
Considering the Toffees' current financial issues, having been punished twice for PSR breaches during the 2023/24 campaign, a free transfer makes total sense.

Also, with 20 Premier League goals in his career, the winger's goal contributions would be a welcomed addition to Sean Dyche's current squad, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Abdoulaye Doucoure the only real goalscorers last season.

The former took a very long time to get going, notching just three goals until a goalscoring spree saw him finish the season with seven Premier League goals, helping Everton secure safety in the division.

Wingers are also a part of Dyche's squad that will need addressing this summer, with Arnaut Danjuma set to return to Villarreal and Jack Harrison's future at Goodison Park up in the air.

While some fans may be underwhelmed by the signing of Decordova-Reid, it is a transfer that certainly makes sense given the circumstances at the club and uncertainty over the takeover.

He has been a constant performer for Fulham over the years, making almost 200 appearances since making his loan from Cardiff City permanent in January 2020.

Until Farhad Moshiri is able to sell the club, making the situation much clearer on Merseyside, it will be extremely difficult for Everton to act in the summer transfer market, with multiple losses expected too.

The likes of Jarrad Branthwaite and Amadou Onana could be on their way out this summer, which will mean Dyche needs multiple replacements. With minimal funds, that task will be extremely daunting for the manager.

From Fulham release to Saudi Arabia – Player could be back in action quickly with financial boost
Earlier today, Fulham confirmed goalkeeper Marek Rodák will leave when his contract at the club expires at the end of this month.

The 27-year-old initially joined Fulham's academy in 2013 and has made 93 appearances in all competitions for them.

Marco Silva's side had the option to extend his contract for another year, but they decided not to exercise it.

Rodák could move to Saudi Arabia if a report from L'Equipe journalist Loïc Tanzi is to be believed.

He took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to state that Middle East clubs are waiting to find out their budgets for the summer window. That hasn't stopped some from working on potential signings.

Tanzi says the stopper could move to Al-Ettifaq, and he uses this an example to indicate that a few Saudi clubs are already trying to sign players.

The move to Saudi Arabia would likely see the goalkeeper improve his salary, and enjoy regular game time next season, which he didn't get at the Premier League side.

Rodák made five appearances for Fulham in the recently concluded season and all of them were in the cup competitions.

Leeds United and Everton in transfer chase for Fulham first-teamer
Leeds United are eyeing a move for a key Fulham player this summer, but they aren't alone in the chase for his services

Leeds United are keeping tabs on Fulham winger Bobby Decordova-Reid amid uncertainty over his future.
According to TEAMtalk, the forward is set to depart the Cottagers at the end of the month after they were unable to come to an agreement over a new contract.

Decordova-Reid's deal is set to expire at the end of June, which will make him a free agent this summer.

The 31-year-old featured regularly in the Premier League last season, contributing six goals and two assists from 33 appearances in the the top flight.

The Jamaica international has been with the London club since making the switch from Cardiff City in 2019, initially signing on loan before making it a permanent move in January 2020.

Leeds eyeing Bobby Decordova-Reid following Fulham contract refusal
It is understood that Leeds are one of two clubs with an interest in signing the versatile attacking midfielder, should he leave Fulham this summeras it is now likely.

The Whites face competition from Premier League outfit Everton, with both sides hoping to improve their attacking options next season.

Both clubs are facing financial difficulties that will make Decordova-Reid an attractive option due to his impending free agency.

It remains to be seen whether he could be convinced to take the step down to the Championship, with the Toffees' top flight status perhaps giving them the edge in the battle for his signature.

The situation surrounding Jack Harrison's future could also play a role in determining the outcome of this transfer tussle.

Harrison spent last season on loan at Goodison Park, and Everton are believed to be keen to bring him back into Sean Dyche's squad for the upcoming campaign.

The futures of Leeds' other attacking options will also likely play a role, with Wilfried Gnonto linked with a move away from Elland Road.

Crysencio Summerville is also reportedly attracting interest ahead of the transfer market opening later this month, with the likes of Bayer Leverkusen, Liverpool, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace all keeping tabs on the Dutchman.

Bobby Decordova-Reid's importance to Fulham
Losing Decordova-Reid would be a blow to Marco Silva's side given his importance to the team in recent seasons.

The 31-year-old has contributed 29 goals and 15 assists in the league during his time at Craven Cottage, and was key in helping them gain promotion to the top flight twice.

He was the team's third-highest goal scorer in the Premier League last season as they secured their place in the division for another year, and that was despite not being a regular starter at Craven Cottage.

Silva's side finished 13th in the table, 21 points clear of the relegation zone.

Leeds United's promotion failure will hurt Bobby Decordova-Reid pursuit
Decordova-Reid arriving as a free agent would be a really solid signing for Leeds if they can pull it off.

The winger has a lot of positive experience and knows what it takes to compete for promotion to the Premier League.

There will be some concern over his wage demands if he is unable to find an agreement with Fulham, which could be an issue for the Whites.

However, their status as a Championship side could prove another stumbling block, as he may want to remain in the Premier League for the time being, which Everton can offer him.

Report: Fulham Star Defender in Talks with MLS Club

Tim Ream's Potential Move to Charlotte FC: A Strategic Shift in Defence
In a strategic move, MLS side Charlotte FC is in advanced discussions with Fulham and United States defender Tim Ream, sources reveal to ESPN. The deal, although not finalized, is aimed at bringing the 36-year-old veteran to the U.S. to bolster Charlotte's defensive line.

Ream's Journey and Challenges
Ream's contract with Fulham, set to expire in 2025, implies that Charlotte FC will need to negotiate a transfer fee with the English club. Having joined Fulham from Bolton Wanderers in 2015, Ream has made 312 appearances. However, the 2023-24 season has been challenging for Ream due to a calf injury sustained in December, limiting his time on the pitch and resulting in one goal from 18 matches across all competitions.

Impact on USMNT and Copa América
Despite his recent struggles, Ream's tenure in Europe has significantly shaped his career. With 56 caps for the USMNT, he was a pivotal player in the 2022 Qatar World Cup, starting in all four games. His experience and leadership are invaluable, evidenced by his recent call-up in May for the team's training camp ahead of the 2024 Copa América. As Gregg Berhalter's squad prepares for friendlies against Colombia on June 8 and Brazil on June 12, Ream's role remains crucial.

Charlotte FC's Defensive Aspirations
Charlotte FC's head coach Dean Smith has been vocal about the need for a left-footed centre-back, a role Ream is well-suited for. Bringing Ream to MLS is seen as a strategic move to enhance their backline. Currently, Charlotte sits fifth in the Eastern Conference table with 25 points from 17 games, maintaining a goal difference of zero after conceding 18 goals. Ream's potential addition could provide the stability and experience needed to push for higher standings.

The potential acquisition of Tim Ream signifies Charlotte FC's commitment to strengthening their defence with experienced international talent. As talks continue, fans await the final decision, hopeful for the positive impact Ream could bring to the team.

Arsenal is considering a surprising move for Fulham star
Arsenal has added Fulham star Rodrigo Muniz to their shopping list ahead of an important few weeks.

Mikel Arteta is on the lookout for a new attacker and might focus on options available in the Premier League.

The likes of Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres have been linked with big-money moves to Arsenal in the last few months.

However, the Gunners are now looking to focus on spending less to bolster that position, and some new options have emerged.

Some quarters consider Benjamin Sesko their new favourite target, but Goal Brasil reports that Arsenal also likes Muniz.

The Brazilian was in fine form for Fulham last season, and his performance has attracted Arsenal's attention.

The Gunners believe the 23-year-old has the potential to do well for them if he joins the team at the Emirates.

However, Fulham wants him to stay and could look to make a huge fee from his departure.

Just Arsenal Opinion

Muniz was in fantastic form in some weeks during the season, which shows he has the potential to thrive in a bigger club.

We have to sell Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus this summer to sign a new striker, and we must decide if Muniz is better than both.

Tottenham, Newcastle and Aston Villa express interest in Andreas Pereira deal – Talks ongoing with Kia Joorabchian
A big race for Fulham star Andreas Pereira is today reported by the Brazilian media.

Globo Esporte shares a story claiming that Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Aston Villa have all 'expressed interest' in signing the midfielder.

The outlet claims that Andreas had an agreement with Marco Silva not to leave Fulham in his first two seasons in England, with the Whites turning down offers from Atletico Madrid and Al-Etifaq in that period.

However, club and player both understand now is the time to 'listen to the market', and his stay at Craven Cottage for another season is seen as 'unlikely'.

The battle comes from within the Premier League, where Tottenham, Newcastle and Aston Villa want to sign him. It's Kia Joorabchian who's handling the talks.

Pereira is said to be focused on the Copa America and is only set to sort out his future after that. However, he already has a priority in mind, which is the Champions League.

That would give an immediate advantage to Aston Villa over Tottenham and Newcastle. His staff believe the market will get 'heated up' after his upcoming performances for Brazil, so there may be other clubs joining that fight.

De Corodova-Reid contract discussions collapse
Teamtalk are reporting that negotiations between Fulham and Bobby De Cordova-Reid have broken down – and that the Jamaican international is set to leave the club this summer.

The 31 year-old has been offered a two-year extension to his current Craven Cottage contract, but talks between the club and his representatives have collapsed. De Cordova-Reid has made 209 appearances for the Whites – scoring 25 goals – since signing from Cardiff City in 2019 and his versatility and leadership qualities have made him a key member of Marco Silva's squad as Fulham have established themselves in the Premier League.

De Cordova-Reid could become the second member of Silva's squad to depart on a free transfer, with Tosin Adarabioyo set to sign for Chelsea on July 1, with Everton and Leeds United reportedly interested in his services.

Fulham eager to keep hold of Rodrigo Muniz amid Chelsea, Tottenham links
Fulham do not want to lose Rodrigo Muniz, despite Chelsea and Tottenham's interest in the Brazilian striker. A £30 million fee has been mooted.

According to Give Me Sport, Fulham will do everything they can to hold on to striker Rodrigo Muniz. Chelsea and Tottenham may have an interest in the forward, but Marco Silva holds him in high regard after an impressive second half of the previous season.

Do Fulham want to keep Rodrigo Muniz?
Fulham boss Marco Silva described Rodrigo Muniz as a great player after the striker was one of their best performers in the second half of the 2023/24 season. After the Cottagers struggled in the first part of the campaign with their new strikers underperforming, the manager had to resort to calling upon the forgotten Brazilian.

Signed from Flamengo in 2021, Muniz has not been the first name on Silva's teamsheet for a long time. He even spent the 2022-23 season on loan with Middlesbrough and is now seen as the big breakout star for Fulham in the second half of last season, with 10 goals to his name in the Premier League.

Now, Silva and Fulham are eager to hold on to him amid interest from Chelsea and Tottenham in the last week or so. There have been further reports about Fulham's interest in Eddie Nketiah, as such a move will only mean they are looking to replace their £30 million-rated breakout star ahead of the summer window.

They do want £30 million to sell Rodrigo. But ideally, Silva would like to keep him as they are in a strong enough position with two years left on his deal and a club option for another. However, the big question here is whether Chelsea and Tottenham are indeed interested in the Brazilian.

Are Chelsea and Tottenham serious about Muniz?
Chelsea are in the market for a new striker, and they have chased several names, with Benjamin Sesko their current favourite option. There have been links to Victor Osimhen, but that chase has all but ended and confirmed by credible sources. Considering they are serious about Sesko, the likes of Muniz might be a contingent option for the RB Leipzig star.

The report claims that Muniz is not part of Tottenham's striker shortlist, which may consist of Viktor Gyokeres, among others. Hence, while Chelsea might still consider him to some degree, Spurs are not in the race for the £30 million-rated Fulham star.

Tottenham want £30m midfielder Jose Mourinho once deemed 'phenomenal'
Tottenham Hotspur will be eager to bolster their ranks in the summer transfer window in wake of a mixed end to the season.

Spurs hit the ground running under Ange Postecoglou and, at one point of the season, even looked like potential dark horses for the title.

However, a downturn in form saw Tottenham drop out of top-four contention, culminating in a spot in the Europa League for next term.

Spurs are said to be looking to strengthen their midfield and, according to a report from Brazil, have set their sights on a player from a rival London club.

Globo Esporte have reported that Tottenham are one of several Premier League outfits that are interested in Fulham's Andreas Pereira.

As well as Spurs, the likes of Aston Villa and Newcastle United are apparently eyeing the 28-year-old midfielder.

Pereira is unlikely to remain at Fulham, who have set a price tag of £30-35million for his signature, added the report.

Who is Tottenham target Andreas Pereira?
Pereira, who was born in Belgium, began his football journey at Lommel United before joining PSV Eindhoven's academy in 2005.

He then joined Man United's setup in 2014 and remained on their books until 2022, when he joined Fulham permanently.

Pereira has made 82 competitive appearances for the Cottagers, registering eight goals and 15 assists.

He also played for Manchester United 75 times and has won three caps for the Brazil national team.

Breaking the Lines wrote in 2022: 'Pereira is Fulham's main attacking outlet, with his quick feet and composure allowing him to skip past challenges and spread the ball.

'A staple of the (then) 26-year-old's play is his sweeping switches of play.

'This allows (former Fulham forward Aleksandar) Mitrovic to pull wide and collect the ball in the area without attracting the attention of the centre-back who will have been briefed to tightly mark him.'

Jose Mourinho sung Pereira's praises following his display in a 2-1 win over Leicester City in August 2018.

As per The Sun, Mourinho said: "I don't want to go without saying about Andreas Pereira.

"He was on the bench as a right winger at Valencia and came to Old Trafford as a No 6. He played phenomenal."

Fulham: Andreas Pereira reveals upcoming talks with agents amid links with Tottenham and Newcastle
Midfielder has been tipped for an exit from Craven Cottage

Andreas Pereira revealed he will hold talks with his agents over his future at Fulham amid links with a move away from the club.

The Brazilian international was one of Marco Silva's key players last season, scoring three times and registering seven assists in 34 Premier League starts.

Such was the level of the 28-year-old's form at club level, Pereira was rewarded with a first international call-up since 2018 back in March and featured as a substitute in games against England and Spain.

The Selecao have also named him in their squad for this summer's Copa America, which begins in the United States later this month.

Pereira will be out of contract with Fulham in the summer of 2026 and has recently been linked with moves to Tottenham, Newcastle and Aston Villa.

Speaking about his future, the former Manchester United midfielder told Brazilian outlet UOL: "It's difficult to talk about the future now, I'm completely focused on the national team. After the title, God willing, I'll think about my future at the club.

"I'll sit down with my agent and decide my future."

Standard Sport understands Fulham are keen to sign Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe this summer, with the Gunners prepared to listen to offers.

The ambitious Silva is pushing for the club's board to back him and wants to strengthen his attacking options during the transfer window.

Willian is set for talks over a new contract, while Bobby De Cordova-Reid will leave unless the club can come to an agreement on a new deal.

Cottagers stalwart Tim Ream is in advanced talks to join Major League Soccer side Charlotte FC, too.

The 37-year-old only signed a contract extension running until June 2025 back in December but the MLS outfit are exploring a move.

Fellow defender Tosin Adarabioyo set to join rivals Chelsea on a free transfer after completing a medical as Fulham monitor a number of central defensive options ahead of the summer window.

Well the window is open for over another two months and rumours have suggested that a number of our players could be on the way out including :-
Tosin , Rodak, BDR, Tete, Robinson, Palhinha, Ream, Muniz and Willian.

Palhinha, Robinson and Muniz should attract big transfer fees but not sufficient to buy all the replacement that would be needed if the rumours were all to materialise.
