Brilliant win, so exciting, I didn't think he'd do it, but he did through sheer determination, skill and guts.
Great that he's finally achieved it after overcoming so many obstacles, and almost written off.

Cycling is  one of the toughest of sports - he's had to cycle over mountain stages this week, just hanging on to make the cut off, then win a sprint against the very top sprinters, all far younger than him.
Top bloke -recommend his book - Boy Racer.

Absolutely amazing achievement.  So pleased for him that he's made the record his own.  It was just like watching the old Cav.
