Now, I am a big fan of the BBC and what it does, even if I don't watch it much.

Woolly Mammoth

I would rather see them relegated, just to upset the bbc and sky and their football snobbery.

"Stealing from another post" but when you look at the bookies odds going into this match
Liverpool 1/3 win
Draw 5/1
Fulham 9/1 win

Shame I am not a gambling man. But either way the "big clubs" always will have that obsession. It goes around in circles, Liverpool will be very unlucky not to win the league but give it a few years and Arsenal will be closing the gap if Man United can't turn the corner

Personally I don't think Pereira's should have been anywhere near a red, but at least that feels more subjective.

My opinion - and I'm far from alone in thinking this - is that Robertson did not deny Wilson an obvious goalscoring opportunity. Wilson's steal took the ball more sideways than towards goal. Even had he not been brought down, it's unclear whether the next player to play the ball would have been Wilson, Van Dijk or Jimenez. I think it fairer to say there may have been a goalscoring chance for Wilson than that there would have been one. On this basis, it merits a yellow card more than it does a red.

Welcome to my universe.

Robertson's red was absolutely unquestionable.

I was surprised that Linekar didn't understand that Jiminez having a shot from the same move did not negate the denial of a clear goalscoring opportunity. The cynical foul by Robertson had happened, what happened next is incidental to the correct punishment.

Well it is all about opinions. Lunatic asylums were full of people saying that they weren't alone in thinking they way they do. We can all watch the same pictures, the same views and the same angles. Yet somehow come up with different opinions. We all know that Britain pays twice as much for heating and Electricity than Americans. Simply giving Green Companies subsidies for green energy when the wind doesn't blow or when it does blow and stopping all production of dirty fuel will leave us with huge power cut problems.

BUT we all see the same evidence. We all have different opinions.

Suffice to say I have no doubt that had the decisions on Saturday been against Fulham there would be no great comment or controversy.

The BBC remain and we pay for them.

The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

I've seen some different ways in which forum members have disagreed with me, but this is novel, I'll say that.

Rather than dealing in thinly disguised insults, may I suggest you take a leaf out of my book and link the events on the field to the laws of the game? It will make for a more civil debate.

I used your phrase and thought it was a way to point out that lots of people have their opinions and hence the lunatic asylums were full of people who claim there are people who agree with them. It wasn't meant as a personal attack on you.

It's been a great few days

Whinging Liverpool supporters either genuine or so called T.V. experts, brilliant let them rant on & on & on...

All about Liverpool not "little old Fulham"

To steal & spoil the scousers points as well as those with those of Arsenal & Spuds fantastic. Love it!

Sadly, yet again more opportunities squandered to fly high in the Top 6 - how FULHAMISH!

17 points "lost" from a winning position so far this season, that's a horrible statistic.

However, we have proved (so far) that we should be respected, can deliver against ALL Premiership teams & progress further upwards.

Shahid / Marco - HOLD THE LINE
Don't sell any crown jewels (Prince Andrew excluded.)
Keep the current team together.
Add value where necessary in January if possible
Tweak & turn & develop & blood some Academy players next year
Crack on & enjoy the achievements so far this season
Buy in August

COYW!!

Fair enough.

I know you and I often hold different opinions as to the correctness of referees' decisions - and the colour of the card Robertson deserved may be another in this line of disagreements. All the same, I was surprised by (what seemed to be, but I now know wasn't) the suggestion I belong in an asylum.

Thanks for putting forth your point of view. It is safe to say that I disagree on the level of uncertainty that you ascribe to the situation, but I appreciate you clarifying your point of view.
