I think you break these defensive blocks with effort.  Faster passing  , everybody making runs, moving constantly , switching players. If it was unbreakable,  Palace would be top of the league.

Exactly this. Killed as all season. Credit to Palace defensively as Glasner has over two games completely nullified all our threat but all he had to do was watch our games against the bottom 6. So clear how to stuff us.

That is exactly what we tried for the first 30 minutes and it nearly paid off with the Muniz and AP chances. I believe Palace are the best form side in the league at the moment and have barely conceded a goal away in months. They were in the relegation zone in November. They are on fire. You have to give them some credit tactically/defensively. Sorry no way we lacked effort that first half. They actually looked rattled for 20 mins. Second half 11 men behind the ball and impossible to break down and then hit us on the break. We were poor and didn't find solutions to a low block yet again but the team were well up for it first half. Just done by a better team/tactics today and it totally sucks.

You genuinely think we've played well being 3-0 down?

Our approach play has been as good as ever, but the work on the final third has been abysmal. When you know that a cross is unlikely to be met by one of our forwards and that there are no forwards with the pace to run into space, what do you do? You could cut it back but our shooting from distance is poor. What I disagree about is that we've not fought for the ball. And we haven't been a
shambles. Palace were the best team, no doubt, but it was because they have fast athletic forwards who are not afraid to shoot.

Am really devastated by that today, but not 1st time we've seen that this season.20/25 mins we were playing some lovely fast crisp football. Go a goal then 2 down like that ripped us, game was over then. We passed back and sideways more in 3 mins in the second half than we did in the first half 25. Without knowing what plans or budgets are don't want Europe personally, be a right battle next season. Ya CP did well after that no doubt, but we left them off the hook
