One Season Late

I posted at the end of the 2022/23 season that we'd had 15 different scorers that season in league games and that that had equalled our previous "PL best" in the 2006/07 season.

For the season just ended we had just 11 different scorers (plus one OG).

A year ago I forgot to do the same analysis for 2023/24. That season we had 17 different league scorers, setting a new "PL best" for FFC. And we had one OG scored as well.

In those three seasons (22/23, 23/24 and 24/25) we scored 55, 55 and 54 goals respectively. They were scored by 15 players, 17 players and 11 players. Is it better to have goals more shared out among the squad or does it matter at all? Did 24/25 show a weakness in the squad in terms of goalscoring???

It's a funny stat as with just 11 scorers we got our record points total, but you can't help think that with a few more scorers we might be in Europe.

So to clarify I haven't a clue

I think it matters.  Much better, in my view, to have more goals shared out amongst the players.
