MOTM for me. Seemed by far in the best shape and was very lively and sharp

Agreed our first half team was much stronger than theirs. Their second half team it was 1-1.

The fact they made the second game "behind closed doors" almost at the last minute after people made travel arrangements has been commented on by others.

I wonder if the so-called "Fans advisory board" has anything to say about another case of the fans being an afterthought.

Or maybe those on the FAB are the kind of 'fan' that's not that bothered by pre season friendlies?

I'm not going to Portugal but this action just reminds me how poor the club regards my experience in the Hammersmith End.

Agreed our first half team was much stronger than theirs. Their second half team it was 1-1.

Sure, and our second half team was weaker with our backup defence and Reed + subs for 2 academy players. No one's seriously running away with it but felt mostly comfortable with where we're at

King, Lupalo-Bi and Essenga looking every bit as composed as the regular first teamers.

Thought essenga looked very nervy tbh. Hopefully getting some minutes under his belt he can ease into pre season a bit more.

Lupalo-bi agree did look decent and with a strong frame. One to keep an eye on for the future

Esenga has a great left foot and fabulous vision but I would be terrified of a PL player closing him down on the press. Definitely lacks that ability. Also unclear if he has the athleticism to get up and down the pitch. I really do like him but he might just be a championship player(which is still an enormous accomplishment just not particularly profitable).

Positives:
First half in general
Wilson popping up in key positions
King looking like he should be starting at CAM
Bassey still strong
Leno did as much as he could
Lupalo-Bi and Essenga not looking out of place

Negatives:
Midfield in second half got no control, Reed looking out of his depth in defensive midfield
Traore hardly got a single pass right
Diop had a mare
Trouble in getting the ball into the striker, Forest have 3 at the back so that is somewhat understandable

Just looking at the highlights King's vision is amazing at times...talk about let the ball do the work

My memory is a little hazy but I am sure I have seen us lose to Three Bridges and Carshalton Athletic.

Watched the game, FFC pretty much bossed this match, particularly in first half.  Although not sure how significant, don't think Forest playing their better players?  Anyway, nice show by the lads.  I still can't believe how high up the table Forest finished last season, never really thought they were that good.  But, the table doesn't lie, I guess.

Good games from Wilson, Sessegnon, King, Tete, Bassey
Noticeably poor games from Traore, ESR, Muniz, Iwobi
Andersen made several very nice long diagonals, right on the money
Leno still doesn't know what clean sheet means

Traore still one of my favorite players, but he was invisible out there.  Scratching my head....

I'm not being protectionist towards Adama here but in no way should he be relied on to defend, let alone be marking their lone striker known for heading. That was a lapse and poor decision making organisationally by one of or both of our centre backs. Would need to watch back but in almost certain Diop wasn't marking anyone....
