England should have won it, by far the better team.
Josh contributed well with his performance.
There are some real quality players in that England team.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Seth Rigeon capatained England u18 v Morocco today.

How on earth is Josh King not even in the U21 squad yet?

Yeah, that's a fantastic group of players at u19. Goalie and a bad ref stopped it being a comfortable win. Future for English football is super, super bright at the moment. We need a proper striker to full Kane's boots, but the pipeline of players for the next 10-12 years looks really solid.

Surely would get in soon if he continue to regularly play in the Premier league.

The current u21 midfield is Ethan Nwaneri, Jack Hinshelwood, Jobe Bellingham, Lewis Miley, and Archie Gray. All are players with much more extensive first team experience. His time will come and likely very soon as long as he keeps playing well.

Josh King played the last 15 minutes of the u19s 4-1 win over Netherlands this morning.

Seth Ridgeon had the 2nd half of the u18s 3-2 win v Canada this morning.

It would be great to see both of them in the full England squad one day.

Be interesting to see how much game time Nwaneri gets this season. Every time I've seen him he's looked class but with Madueke signing and the rise of Dowman he's fallen further down the pecking order on the right.

He's a natural 10 but they play 4-3-3 with Odegaard playing a bit deeper. That wouldn't make the most of his attacking instincts.

He can also play on the left but has a natural tendency to drift inward like Foden. They've signed Eze who will play that role, offering an alternative to out and out winger, Martinelli.

Arteta really is spoilt for choice with tricky technical players, but is far too cautious. I much preferred watching the Arsenal of 22-23 vs now. They played the most exciting attacking football in the league for me. Now their style is pretty dour at times, too reliant on corners and grinding out results.

Arsenal are trying to play a bit differently this season, more direct football, to utilise the strengths of Gyokeres. A good example is his goal v Leeds, where Calafiori knocked it up into a channel for him to chase, and he ran at the defence and scored.

Nwaneri is presumably first understudy to Odegaard and will get some minutes as the right sided 8/10, with Eze playing on the left and drifting from there.
