John McGinn is everything Berge isn't. Combative, creative, box to box, good tackler, involved, influential.

CM is where we most need to improve I think.

Having both Berge and Lukic as functional midfielders makes us so lacking creatively from that part of the pitch.

At least Lukic has some ambition and a bigger engine.

2 positions now we needed TC shooting instead of him

Can't see TC ever getting that close to goal these days.

He's scored more than Lukic has from the same position and in a fraction of the minutes.

Ok.. so £27m plus somewhere between £1m-7m add ons .. bargain! I take it all back.

Sorry, you may disagree, but I think he's been poor.. and he's had enough time and game minutes to change my mind.

(Ps for what it's worth, I think there's a decent player there.. but for whatever reason it isn't showing. Is it poor management? Whatever the reason he has been a waste of 50% of Mitrovic's cash and I would rather have half a Mitrovic).

I blame the lack of action in the window. Maybe that's TKs fault, I'm not in a position to know. I wonder if his other commitments take him away from the FFC action at crucial times, leading to a rush to make signings when all the best players have already been taken. I would have hoped that there was a team here that would have been able to move without having to report back all the time and wait for approval?

this is where TK should invest - pay some quants to write an AI agent to analyze the first half player motions, overall team shape, all of those physiological stats coming out of the players' sensors they are made to wear.  Then inject it into a model primed with Marco's playing style, game plan, tactics, and write a compelling team talk.  Since it is totally objective,
