Sky: "90+4: Bassey outmuscles Broja and then issues a reminder to his team-mates to concentrate."

Rich coming from Bassey!

I don't think an away win has ever pissed me off so much

Best thing about this match is that it's over.

Newcastle is going to look at this defensive performance and lick their lips

Aye, Thankful for the points, as we desperately need them.... but what an awful display. Any half decent side would have spanked us

FulhamKC

C'mon guys. We just broke a 74 year losing streak.

I can't believe this but I was more upbeat after Man City at home than I am with an away win today

Willham

A wins a win! Good attacking performance.

If we play like this against Newcastle we concede 5+ goals easily and I don't think they'll be as poor defensively. Massive improvement needed.

Burnley were shocking

Twig

None of our back 4 were anything better than a 4/10 and neither Bassey nor Robinson were even that.
Berge struggled to impose himself on the midfield and Lukic added nothing after he came on.
The King experiment failed but fair enough for trying it.
Iwobi had a stinker too.
Plaudits to Wilson, Leno and Chuck.
Not sure why we didn't see Kevin, I think he could have been a real threat up against the Burnley defence.

My god, always happy to get a win and to also break the Turf Moor hoodoo, but my god did we make that difficult on  ourselves! ::wine::

We made really tough work of that. Burnley were absolutely awful. But so was our defence

We played as if we had the weight of that record on our shoulders!

I suppose that the idea is that if he gets a lucky break then he is quick away. Marco did this with the Leeds fella James

Jesus! Three points but how painful was that!

Why am I still moaning, because despite Burnley never giving up they were as poor as any PL team I've ever seen.

We made it such a struggle but if I try to be positive we lowered our performance to their level and still won. On another day, against better opposition we raise our game and play better.

In an hour I'll just be happy we won!  ::wine::

Covered in cheese paste!

Hard to forget Felix Magath and his theory about curing injuries with cheese.

Lucky to win that but big thanks to Leno and Wilson.
