Nothing beats a Jet 2 holiday

The video of Iwobi and chuck discussing it so funny

Iwobi saying that the ball went to the Afcon already !! Can't find the clip

He did everything perfectly but the end. He really should have just squared it to Chukwueze and it would have been a goal most likely.

Exactly.

If we had scroed it would have been goal of the season

I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

I don't blame him for having a go, ok so it was a bit wild, but at least he tried.

It wouldn't have been so funny if we had lost.

It was a great run but quite an embarrassing ending for a professional footballer! Two Fulham players unmarked at the time had he just looked?

Actually winds me up a bit that he's laughing so much about it, wouldn't have been quite so funny if they'd scored again. It's a team game, not a solo glory campaign.

I'm still shocked he won POTS last season, he's full of hustle, bustle and strength, but his positional sense is really poor and his heading is very average for a CB (as per his assist for their goal) and his passing is mediocre at best.

Sometimes when you make a run like that from one end of the pitch to the other, outmuscling so many players you eventually
Lose the plot, I'm not mad at him at all
Such an amazing run

I love him
Plays with his heart and always gives 100%

He is a real Warrior and for that I can forgive his lapses, because he is a player that will lead by example on the field, and I imagine a real trooper in the dressing room.
I agree he should have laid the ball off to the players who were in a better position, and for a professional he could have done better.
But at that particular moment with the adrenaline pumping, his judgement was to have a go himself which if he had scored it would have been perfect.
However as destiny has it he took the other option and his execution at his attempt at goal did not match the run he made.

I'm surprised he didn't get a nose bleed all the way up there

Cambridge Away

It was atrocious and so selfish and we'd have gone 4-1 up if he squared it i think. I hope he learns from it. He had a brilliant game i thought

alfie

I honestly can't believe the grief being aimed at Bassey, yes he messed up the shot, it's nothing new players do it all the time, he was not being selfish, after that run he saw his opportunity to have a go and he took it, he was laughing because he was probably so embarrassed. Let's give the guy a break.

Laughing on the coach about it, way after the game. We could have gone 4-1 up, game done, no way back for Burnley. Good job Chuk didn't shoot instead of squaring it to Wilson, or Wilson try a shot instead of looping the ball onto Bassey's head!!
After saying all that, I like the bloke and the laughter and smiles he brings to the squad, he's clearly a character.

Andrew

I do love him, he is a character in a game full full of anonymous people.

However, as i have said on other threads, he is wreckless. that run summed him up. The run was in the end pointless because he had no intention of doing the best for his team at the end of it. His only aim was to be selfish and attempt a shot that it would have had to be a fluke for him to score. He had team mates in good positions, he needed to play it to them.

It reminds me of so many wingers and other forwards that look good for a while but no end product or just shoot wildly from anywhere no matter what. The game is about scoring goals and with such a selfish attitude the team is placed in a less good situation, just like when he fouled up at Newcastle twice earlier in the season giving them the game because he was trying to be 'fancy dan'.

I love him but he is not always brilliant and this season he has not always been at his finest.

That is how I see it.
