Does this now lead the way for Marco to sign ? Surely I would of thought so

Then Harry signs cos Marco's staying ?

Me reckons so

Deeping_white

I would suggest another striker or CM would be needed to get him to sign but Bobb certainly helps things

Marco said in today's interview that he's not going to judge his future based on one window, so read into that what you will.

I'm not so sure, although I hope so. We were flying under the radar a bit until recently. Now we're up to seventh in the Premier League people are starting to take notice again and if this trajectory continues Silva's stock will rise once more. I can see a situation where he could wait to see if any high profile clubs make an approach. If we are able to get a couple more targets over the line in the coming days I would like to think he'll sign a new deal.

I'm not necessarily this pessimistic but if that was truly the case he would have signed already.

If he's leaving he is better off not announcing it until the end of the season as that will absolutely tank our performances, like Palace.

Anyone that can make sense of anything Marco says in his press conferences deserves an award 🥇

The question is who are high profile? City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool aren't looking for a manager. United might be. Spurs might be, but are they high profile? Both United and Spurs don't think any manager is good enough for them and Marco would certainly not get the power he craves. Of course there is Europe if Marco wants to leave the premier league.
I think he will stay. He is highly paid, with a great deal of control, and with a stable club. European football is not a crazy dream and we are still in the cup.

Bobb has signed to work with Marco not because it's Fulham imo.
Marco could go in the summer if Citeh or Utd came in for him, but the players we are signing are coming because of Marco.

It would be normal to assume Bobb's signing included talks between the player and the head coach that included plans for the future.

With this in mind I think there's a good chance Silva re-signs.

As for Wilson, I'm not so sure.

The usual pro's are that he's enjoying his football at Fulham, playing regularly, living in London (probably) and will have a good contract put before him.

The con's are he has an opportunity to leave as a free agent and reap the reward that brings.
He may be paid an amount that most people can only dream of (£35,000 a week I believe) but hes one of the lower paid 1st team regulars.

Wilson and his agent will be looking to maximise his earnings and know what he can achieve from a move and will want Fulham to match this.
Unless Bobb is seen as the replacement bought in advance (unusual for FFC) IMO Wison will be looking for a similar salary to the like of Chuckwueze, Jiminez & Iwobi, that is around £80.000 to £100,000 a week.

Wilson has bought a house in Wrexham I believe, he may be waiting to see if they get promoted
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

I believe Marco will sign, and Wilson will leave on a free.
Harry wants a last payday, and he'll get a bigger one leaving on a free. Don't want him to go though

He was born in Wrexham I believe? Even if they did get promoted. Could they pay him large wages like another established premier league club could?

I dont think the house purchase was necessarily about moving there, although I can see the appeal of the project at home in wales. But he's said before about the right deal "for his family" perhaps he wants his young kids to be near family? Not sure if his parents live up that way. Even if not Wrexham there are plenty of clubs closer to home than Fulham.

Time will tell I guess. I'd love to think we get Europe and he feels like he wants to see through the fruits of his labour here. We shall see

Yep but consistency and injuries have always been a problem with him
Yes he's currently in the form of his life but how long will it last ?
You know if we do get him to resign I wouldn't be surprised if he got injured in the following weeks

If at the end of the day money is more to him then loyalty then so be it

H4usuallysitting

Surely with all this AI flying about, we could replicate Marco signing a new contract
