Steeeeeeeeeed

Very unusual to start on a Thursday, it's because the Winter Olympics starts tomorrow. I haven't seen it advertised much myself.

On ITV from 7.20pm

Somerset Fulham

Apparently with ingame ads for the first time too.

As if we can't escape the f@cking things everywhere we look anyway.

Sadly she wasn't

I am excited

I cant wait for the whole thing to start

I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

Just switched on. I'm not particularly fussed if players don't sing the national anthem, as long as they play due respect. Noticed not only did all the French team sing, so did the ball boys and girls. Then either the band stopped or was drowned out by the crowd. Impressive!

SP

Less than 15 minutes in & a contentious decision from the officials - there's no escape from it.

Eton White

France are looking very good. It's definitely them or England this year.

Eton White

#8
Ireland making the scoreline look a bit more respectable.

Edit: and France making it look less respectable again!

France 36-14 Ireland

yes the opening ceremony is at the San Siro tomorrow but the curling started yesterday and is on every day of the Olympics.

Why?
Because that's all I want to watch. Same with all international competitions, if England are not playing I have no interest.
Football, cricket, rugby, whatever.
Sorry but that's just me.

No need to apologise. Without a reason, it just sounded like you were making a very profound statement!

Personally I like watching other teams (as well as England) as they're often some of the best games, but that's also just me. ::thumb::

Deadcowboys

The Irish gave what they always do, toughness, determination & never say die approach. Being a team in transition & with a lot of injuries, they were just not good enough.

The French, also in a bit of transition & leaving out Penaud & Alldritt, produced scintillating rugby but also reverted to type by going to sleep & almost letting the Irish back in.

England can certainly match the French physically but Borthwick is as dull a coach as you can get, so i'm not expecting much expansive rugby more suffocating the opposition. Playing old man Ford has no future, need to play Marcus Smith.

Not just you Alfie, as I'm exactly the same.

SP

Relieved to see the England game doesn't start until 16:40.
