Harry Wilson

Firstly let me make it absolutely clear that Harry is a wonderful player and responsible for the fact that we're currently not fighting a relegation battle with Forest and West Ham,
But having said all that there comes a time that you have to move on, and for me that time is now,
Harry has had a new contract offer for a year now and he hasn't signed it ,hence the reason why we tried to sell to Leeds for £30 million on deadline day,
Harry is now effectively a Free agent and has the likes of Villa and Everton sniffing around,  why then should we keep him in the shop window and at the same time deny players like Oscar Bobb and Samuel Chukwueze the chance to shine, two players that do want to be here,
So do you want to see Harry make way or are you happy to see him continue at the expense of others?

I think there are two points:
1. Should we do our best to offer Harry a contract that encourages him to sign?
2. Should he be a starter currently, or are there alternatives that make us more effective?
They're separate issues and shouldn't necessarily be linked. His purple patch may have faded (but maybe he'll score against the Mackems and prove me wrong), both Bobb and Chuk are high quality alternatives, and when he isn't scoring/assisting our right hand side can look poor.

Your first two sentences don't make a load of sense when put in together. So he's winning us points single handedly and you want to see him gone?

To buy a player with the impact like Harry has had it'd cost us tens of millions, easily. Makes more sense to offer him a bit more.

With regard to contract, we don't actually know what has been put in front of him at all. What we do know is that Marco said that there was no way whatsoever that he was being sold in the summer.

Have always been a Harry Wilson fan and have seen him as possibly our most technical player even being predominantly left footed. Have always looked at him as being a streaky type from a form perspective "when his hot his hot" and this season his purple patch has been a lot longer than his previous spells of good form. Be interesting if he can continue this form until the end of the season. Since our return to Premier league it's probably only this season where he has been a regular starter as opposed to other seasons being in & out of first eleven. Perhaps the signing of Bobb and potentially Chuck might be the clue that the club might be finding his demands a bit rich and progress not being made with contract? Do you take injury record in to account as Harry has had periods of missing chunks of games previously?

Difficult as Kevin you would imagine becomes the regular left winger plus you have Iwobi who can play either side or Sees on left? If Wilson was to sign is Chuck a likely signing this summer? Personally I would rather Wilson and not pursue Chuck? even if he can't eclipse this seasons purple patch of form there is still plenty in the tank.

There does come a point where if he isn't going to sign then it's time to put him on the bench and focus on the players who are going to be here next season.

Whether it's Fulham or any other Club on Earth it's virtually impossible to match a contract of a Free Agent,
Some of you need to get use to the fact that Harry Wilson be gone on July 1st .

With Harry we've got options, without Harry those options are limited.... I'm hoping he signs

That's a fact is it ? Sounds to me like it's just your opinion. Only time will tell what Harry decides but for now he's our player and  Chuckwueze isn't. It would be madness to sideline Wilson just because he hasn't publicly committed to a new contract.

It's worth bearing in mind that we don't know whether Wilson or Chuckwueze will be at Fulham next season. Should we bench both ?

Wilson's future is in his own hands; Chuk's is very much in the hands of Fulham with our option to buy. Very different circumstances.

What IS worth bearing in mind is that Marco benched Tosin towards the end of his final season once it became clear he wasn't going to re-sign
