Diop's positioninng, timing and decison msking was top notch. They were aĺl good but Sesses defending is still a big concern

Should have been out of sight, some great attacking moves. You got to expect the tension though playing Spurs. Probably do them a favour beating West Ham next.

FFC007

I wouldn't mind giving three points to Spam if it helped sending Spurs down!

I would. I'd rather Spurs stay up and we get Europe than the other way around.

Didn't realise that Diop for Andersen was pretty much a last minute decision. Makes Diop's performance even more impressive.

Still managed quite an error and some passive defensive play in the final 10 but yeah, agree overall hade Kolo Muani in his back pocket

Id say
1. Iwobi
2. Diop
3. Wilson
4. Bassey
5. Bobb

Iwobi for me.

Typical Fulham performance. Dominated, should have been 5-0 up before they scored & defending deep to hold on at the end.

Few more minutes off my life but delighted for only our second ever double over Spurs.

3 wins in a row now, and 4 wins in last 5 (the only one we've not won was a draw) as well.

I knew I'd be almost on my own and I accept diop was good but I thought berge by a country mile he looks so casual but rarely loses the ball , im not 100% sure but i dont think he lost possession today .
1975 just leaving home full of hope

Bobbo - i was about to post the same. Really surprised nobody else mentioned Berge - he was excellent today.

Thought it was an interesting parallel of our hero JP up against Berge and Berge looked miles better on the day tbh. The system Spurs play makes poor Palhinha somewhat redundant, I often wonder what a midfield with a younger TC and prime Palhinha could've been capable of with them offsetting each others shortcomings.

Only slight concern for me is that we keep conceding via LB at the moment. Love Sess but unfortunately its the second week running where he's not covered himself in glory for the goal. Real shame because I thought our left side build up play between he, ESR & Bobb was superb at times.

Also think it's worth a convo of Diop v Andersen because for some reason I just feel safer with Diop at CB as he's more mobile. I know we lose the passing ability but from a pure "who would you prefer at CB to defend" question I think I'd have to go with Diop

Should have killed that game off , made it hard for ourselves not getting enough quality crosses into the box . We move on - bag 3 points and up to 9th for now and two on the bounce . Wet Spam , Forrest and Burnley next including two home games in the three , need to wallop all of them if we want Europe
If it wasn't for the medication I,d be chewing on your skin

Spurs are truly awful, we should have battered them but didn't.  That said, it wasn't really nervy I think we had it well under control.

Iwoby was MoM for me, although Diop was excellent. Fair play to him, what a top pro.

SP

Nothing more to add regarding FFC, a fantastic three points.

Why Spurs left out their two best players, Tel & Richarlison is a mystery to me.

The number of times Diop is left out of the squad completely after a decent performance, shows what a true professional he is.

Marco will have quite the choice to make when Andersen is recovered. I am glad he specifically praised him post match too.

He got my vote, particularly forthat perfect sliding tackle/block in the first half.

HV71

That tackle inside the box by Diop was outstanding  - MOM performance

Gave the ball away one time, trying to pass forward, and the other time he was dispossessed, but recovered. I've given my fair share of support, but wanted to note that the broadcast commentator could not stop singing his praises for how much good he did to protect our backline.

MOTM for me is a toss up between Diop and Iwobi. Iwobi scored the winner, set up multiple chances for us, and had to play in various positions when we made our subs. Diop's reading of the game was supreme, followed by the necessary physicality without being reckless. He was called upon late due to Andersen's sickness, and stepped up where needed. Just how Cuenca has forced competition for Bassey, so has Diop for Andersen now. Granted, Andersen is on-field captain, so I can't imagine he'll be replaced so easily.

Based on that, Iwobi takes the MOTM for me. Having to play the 8, then the LM/LCM and still keep the same quality in our attacks and ball security - then scoring the winning goal - which was incredible.

Diop was absolutely immense today. One of his tackles reminded me of the spurs No6 when he was in his pomp with us!!!! I have said for a while he should be starting, quite possibly instead of Anderson.

southwest6

Diop, Bassey, Berge, Iwobi, all outstanding. Special mention to Bobb as well who really grew into the game with some lovely touches and link up play.

Diop for me however!
