Do you think that the Khans have a contingency plan that is ready to go if Silva leaves

Yes because the Chairman isn't a fool and would want to protect his considerable investment

SP

I imagine their contingency planning looks many years ahead.

Wasn't Mr Khan at the Burnley game.... I'm assuming Mr Silva & any replacement were discussed - Mr Khan isn't a fool, he's a very successful business individual

Twig

I'm damned sure they do, both are astute businessmen and let's face it having a back up plan is hardly rocket science.

It's Khans by the way i.e. the plural not the possessive which is when one uses an apostrophe.

You don't get to be billionaires without having contingency plans

I tend to agree that they will have but they have been known to not always get it right? Not under pressure of any relegation worries gives them more preparation to probably announce an early summer appointment should Silva leave. My gut feeling has always been Shahid is probably doing his utmost to keep Marco having had a good period in premiership and all that goes with that financially not wanting to rock the boat unnecessarily and probably giving Silva more power than any other manager at Fulham since he bought the club but there is a line he won't cross which likely involves Tony? Remember we will not be losing just Marco it will likely be the whole kit & caboodle which the owner has to take into consideration. Still think Silva stays but might be a shorter contract agreed by both parties with plenty of options both ways?

The return of Magath..

Yes.
TK to take over, juggling the role with his other commitments.

Of course they do. They are very astute businessmen

They maybe astute business men in their main business but the many errors they have made at Fulham suggests they are not entirely prepared for the Premier League. I am not sure the local mamagement is all that brilliant.

Their one big success was hiring Marco, but he has been disastisfied for a couple of years with the late arrivals in the transfer window... letting him go will be a massive error with this squad, he is the one that keeps it together.

That is my opinion.

Nah I reckon it's all up in the air, full panic mode if he doesn't sign, they might have a short list of ideas but nothing concrete

Maybe Harry Wilson as player/manager ?!!?

Me personally I'd give Slav another go with this current group of players

At the end of the day I'm just hoping he stays
Even with his nonsense ramblings at press conferences

A shorter contract doesn't really suit anyone as how is the club going to grow if both parties know there will be a parting of the ways in 2 years say. We would then go through the whole scenario again of will he won't he. Managers go and take their coaches etc with them and new managers come in with their coaches etc. As for TK he certainly seems to have taken a step back and any new manager will have his own ideas, wants and needs and maybe SK realises this is the better way forward having given Marco more say in signings.

Yes they have made mistakes, but when it comes to managing your business I don't believe that they have any intention of letting Marco go. However, being astute businessmen, they understand that he may leave and have a plan B

That would be limb-urger cheese then?

Rupert

If they need a replacement there are more than a few candidates on here who would seemingly be infallible choices and would lift us to the next level where we apparently belong.

I played FIFA 15 back in the day. This management malarky is really easy, and you can always reset if it goes wrong.
Any fool can criticise, condemn and complain, and most fools do.
