Not quite sure what World you live in, Alfie, but this is football. Certainly not the way to act if you want to keep the owners, players, staff and fans on your side. I can 100% guarantee you now, club won't be wanting to announce this at the end of the season due to ST renewals, so these delays are most likely on Silva's side. And, you say it's personal business, but, the fans do periodically contribute to his wages, and have a right to know where he stands.

yep Alfie I so understand your statement there but I think he and the clu owe a bit to the loyal fans, such as will they be asking for season ticket renewal money before we know .
Yes they don't have to tell us but it's a bit of common decency to do so.

ST renewals? They  are a couple of weeks later than the season end are they not? Might even help (if he is staying, or someone else is lined up) to announce near then.

Relax, if he goes he goes, if he stays he stays.
It's all speculation, one door opens another one closes. Life goes on, it is not the end of the world.
Plenty of good coaches and managers around assuming some of them want the job.
The club may be struggling to find someone to replace him, hence the reason why it is being dragged out.
Either because they're not adequate or that particular coach/ manager does not fancy the job.
Lots of things to take into consideration.
He may decide to go back to Portugal and manage a club there.
Could be Benfica, perhaps we will swop Silva for Maurinho.

That's not a yes or no whether you'd take him here, i agree he isn't an elite manager no more.... but we are not a team for an elite manager, is he still good enough for us?

If the team finishes a top half table team you can obviously have a better chance of getting a good replacement manager than if you have just escaped relegation. So let's be optimistic and not worry too much and that is the same for summer recruitment
