This is a good result for us, as if Villa finishes 5th and wins the Europa League, 6th place gets CL I believe. It also gives Spurs a better chance of staying up, which is good as they'll probably have something to play for against Chelsea and Everton, who we are fighting for European spots. It also keeps Forest on their toes and we could do with them getting a result vs Chelsea tomorrow and Bournemouth on the final day.

It also means Palace might have to take the Everton game somewhat seriously, as they are still not in the clear, especially as they play Man City and Arsenal in 2 of their last 4 games.

I fear for us in any European competition unless we are able to recruit significantly better players as a result of being in Europe. Our current squad has proved to be inadequate for the rigours of the PL.

Should Wolves have sacked Vitor Pereira? I think he's a better manager than Edwards. Would he havr kept them up? Most likely not. But they'd be in a better position for next season in the Championship with a better manager.
