I am not quite so down on Anderson but his distribution is his one saving grace and was certainly missed which you can see when Diop came on. What he did today was stupid and I hope Silva reads him the riot act as he cost us the game.

I don't think wages are the issue, we could always subsidise them somewhere else. The issue is that £30m fee, which hangs on the club like a millstone.

The thing is, we looked better 11v11 and 11v10, so in all likelyhood, we would have continued to look better than them if Andersen didn't get himself sent off. They seemed to cope better with 10v10 than us.

hes kind of the poster child for the issues with this squad. A good professional that has a good amount of talent and is just happy to be playing in the Premier league in a low pressure setting.
