Tottenham, Fulham interested in Lucas Ronier
Lucas Ronier has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks, and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing him.

They will face competition from London rivals, Fulham. According to reports via Sport Witness, both clubs have been watching the Brazilian attack closely, and they could look to make a move in the summer. The 21-year-old has three goals and three assists across all competitions this season, and he has been an important player for Coritiba.

He has the technical attributes to do well in the Premier League, and he could add a new dimension to the Tottenham attack. The left-footed attacker can operate on either flank, and he will add pace, flair, and unpredictability going forward.

Tottenham need someone who can take on defenders and beat them in one-versus-one situations. They have struggled to break down deep defences this season, and someone like Ronier will add more cutting-edge in the final third. His acceleration, agility, and flair make him a tricky player to handle in tight spaces. His style of play should be a good fit for the Premier League as well.

It will be interesting to see where Ronier ends up. He is a talented player with a bright future, and he needs regular opportunities to continue his development. He should look to join a club with a defined role for him in the starting lineup. He will not want to sit on the bench at a Premier League club.

Fulham is also keen on Ronier
Meanwhile, Fulham have done quite well this season, and they are set to secure a respectable finish in the league table. However, they will be hoping to qualify for the European stage next season. They need more quality in the team in order to take that next step and push for a top-six or top-seven finish. Someone like Ronier could be ideal for them. He would be a long-term investment, and he could develop into a key player for the club.

Coritiba will demand a club record fee for the attacker in the summer. They received €8 million for the sale of Igor Paixao, and any club hoping to sign the 21-year-old will have to pay more than that.

The vultures are circling Marco Silva
As we edge towards the end of 2025/26, the writing appears to be on the wall.

And now, the end is near. And so I face the final curtain...

The season is over (and no, I'm not getting sucked in, Joe Sansom). So, naturally, speculation surrounding Marco Silva is intensifying.

The engine of the managerial merry-go-round is cranking into life and the wheels are starting to turn.

An £8m-a-year offer is on the table from Fulham. That's double current Marco's annual salary. But money has never been Silva's primary motivation. It's personal progression.

Which makes the growing number of options available to him all the more tempting. And makes it almost certain he's off (in my mind at least).

First, there's Benfica. A return to his home country is an obvious pull, but not as strong as the chance to once again manage in the Champions League. With Jose Mourinho looking set to return to Real Madrid, this is the most obvious and likely option.

Then there's Chelsea. They're reportedly after Xabi Alonso, but are said to be "keen" on Marco. He'd certainly be keener on them, and would likely opt for them over Benfica, should he get the chance, even without European football. Every manager believes they're the one who can fix the giant basket case.

Despite their Europa League run, Nottingham Forest are reportedly making eyes at Marco. Evangelos Marinakis is a long-time admirer and is said to be keen to change his ways and find a man in the dugout who he can back long term. They have history, though - which could work in Forest's favour (or against them).

So, if money is unlikely to be a deciding factor, what about greater control over transfers? That's apparently also on the table for Silva as the club becomes increasingly agitated to tie their man down.

The seeds of that control are already evident. Players like Oscar Bobb and Kevin were reportedly Marco calls. Neither have made the impact he'd have liked so far (we'll give both the benefit of the doubt here). Is control enough to keep Silva in SW6? I'm not sure it is.

The most concerning element of this whole saga is that it doesn't seem like we're planning for the long term while we wait for an answer. Reports claim we're interested in former Chelsea left-back Filipe Luis if Silva walks. A man who's barely 100 games into his managerial career. He's won silverware, but the caveat is that it came at Brazilian giants Flamengo. It's not lighting my fire.

That flame isn't going to be stoked any further by reports we're set to offer Raul Jimenez a short-term deal for next season.

Look - I agree with everything that's been said about Raul. He's been fantastic value, perhaps even a cult hero. But where's the vision? Where's the forward thrust? We are treading water.

Jack Collins rightly replied to my previous piece calling for Silva to make a decision by reminding us all we still had work to do. Well, there's no more work to be done.

So I say again: make a call, Marco. Yes, you're a man who prides himself on doing it 'your way', but it's time to show this club some respect. No one would begrudge you calling time on a five-year project at the end of your contract. You have successfuly shed the tag of a manager whose head is on a swivel and could leave at a moment's notice.

Whatever you decide, do it soon. Don't taint your legacy by damaging your relationship with the fans.

Manager claim made as Nottingham Forest prepare for crucial summer
Nottingham Forest are facing a crucial summer after securing their Premier League status

Nottingham Forest could make a move for Marco Silva this summer, a report has claimed.

The Reds are heading into a big off-season after securing a fifth successive campaign of Premier League football. Avoiding being dragged into a relegation fight again will be the aim for 2026/27.

This term has been a turbulent one at the City Ground. Vitor Pereira became the club's fourth head coach of the season when he replaced Sean Dyche in February, with Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou having already been axed by that point.

Pereira has overseen a superb turnaround in form since his appointment. He guided Forest to the semi-finals of the Europa League and to safety in the top-flight with an eight-match unbeaten run in the league.

But according to TEAMtalk, the Reds retain a "strong interest" in Fulham boss Silva. The Portuguese's contract at Craven Cottage expires this summer and he is expected to be a wanted man.

TEAMtalk have suggested Forest could make a managerial change, if Silva "signals a willingness" to make the switch Trentside. Reds owner Evangelos Marinakis reportedly sees him as someone to help take the club "to the next level".

Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in Silva, who has been offered a new contract by the Cottagers. He is also said to have options abroad, including in Saudi Arabia, if he decides to move on.

Marinakis knows Silva well from when the pair worked together at Olympiacos. The 48-year-old had a spell in charge of the Greek giants from 2015 to 2016, when he guided them to the Super League title.

Forest bounced back from being knocked out of the Europa League by Aston Villa to claim an important 1-1 draw with Newcastle United on Sunday. Their Premier League survival was confirmed later in the day courtesy of West Ham United's defeat to Arsenal.

After his team's comeback stalemate against the Magpies, Pereira said: "This kind of group, with character, with resilience and with personality, when we concede a goal, they come back again and react again. They come back from the dead and came back to equalise, and they tried to win the game.

"That's why I say every time this must be a very special group. Not only speaking about tactically and technically, they are a special group mentally and with their character and personality."

Fulham eye Chelsea target to replace Marco Silva if he leaves this summer
Fulham are looking at options to replace Marco Silva if their manager chooses to leave this summer and have a former Chelsea player on their shortlist.

Silva is coming to the end of his contract at Craven Cottage but is yet to make a decision on his future.

The Cottagers have offered him a new three-year deal, which remains on the table, but is yet to be signed.

With the Portuguese boss leaving his club hanging, they have started to cast their eye elsewhere.

ESPN Brasil report that Fulham are considering Filipe Luis as a potential replacement for Silva, someone who is no stranger to west London.

The 40-year-old spent the 2014-15 season at Chelsea and has been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge since embarking on his managerial career.

The Brazil international finished his playing career with Flamengo then took charge of the club in 2024.

It has been his only job as a manager but it was a very successful one, winning the Copa Libertadores, Serie A, the Copa do Brasil and Supercopa do Brasil among seven trophies he lifted in his short spell in charge.

However, he lost his job at Flamengo in March this year, with reports emerging that he had been in talks with Chelsea owners BlueCo.

The report suggested BlueCo were looking to hire Luis at Strasbourg, another of the European clubs they own.

A Premier League winner during his stint at Stamford Bridge, he is among the favourites to be the next permanent manager of Chelsea, only behind Xabi Alonso and Andoni Iraola in the betting.

However, he may return to a different west London stadium, if he does make the move to the Premier League this summer.

Silva – who has been linked with the Benfica job if Jose Mourinho leaves to take charge of Real Madrid – has given little away on his future.

Asked for an update last month, he said: 'No. Why is it different this week? It is not at all.

'It is the same and the same answer that I said to you already last week, it is the same. I will not make every single week comments about it.

'When something comes new, we are going to tell from ourselves, myself and the club. Everything what I need, or the club needs to do with me is going to be between me and the club.

'We know what we want to achieve – we are ambitious, but at the same time realistic and aligned. We are always aligned since the first day I joined the football club and it is going to be (the same) until the end.'

How Kieran McKenna now feels about leaving Ipswich Town for Celtic, Crystal Palace or Fulham
Ipswich Town earned their place back in the Premier League on the final day of the Championship campaign.

A 3-0 win at home to QPR led to celebratory scenes at Portman Road, with the team finishing second in the table and just one point clear of Millwall in third.

Kieran McKenna's side suffered relegation with a 19th place finish in the top flight 12 months ago, but have won their status as a Premier League side back at the first attempt which marks a third promotion inside just four years.

The Suffolk outfit will now be planning to improve the squad in order to survive at that level longer-term.

However, the future of McKenna has been cast in doubt, with the Northern Irishman linked to a number of vacancies.

The 39-year-old has been in charge of the club since December 2021, and has overseen their rise from League One to the top flight.

How Kieran McKenna feels about leaving Ipswich Town
It has been reported by Football Insider that McKenna is keen to remain at Ipswich following their promotion from the Championship.

It's believed that he is set to snub interest from the likes of Fulham, Crystal Palace and Celtic to commit his future to the Tractor Boys.

McKenna is expected to remain with the club, and he is excited by the prospect of competing in the top flight again.

Ipswich's promotion has reportedly convinced the head coach that he wants to tackle another survival battle next season instead of jump ship.

The former Man United coach has built a strong reputation in the game in his time at Portman Road, and he previously turned down the advances of Chelsea and Brighton when the club earned promotion in 2024.

Crystal Palace are set to replace Oliver Glasner this summer, with the Austrian departing when his contract expires at the end of the campaign.

Meanwhile, Marco Silva's future at Craven Cottage is up in the air, with his deal also concluding next month.

And Martin O'Neill's time as interim boss at Parkhead is set to come to an end when the season finishes, with the Glasgow giants in need of a permanent replacement.

However, McKenna is set to reject the opportunity to move to these clubs in favour of staying with Ipswich.

Planning will be underway for the Tractor Boys' transfer business, and the 39-year-old will already be considering potential signings to bolster the squad for life in the Premier League.

Kieran McKenna staying is a huge boost for Ipswich
Replacing McKenna would've been an extremely difficult task for CEO Mark Ashton at this stage, as so much work has likely already been done on scouting potential signings for his version of the squad.

Having to find a new manager would be a huge setback for all that work, and would really slow down their preparations for a tough Premier League campaign ahead.

McKenna has been a massively influential figure since taking over at the end of 2021, and it will be a difficult day whenever he does eventually leave the club.

That he is willing to turn down stable Premier League roles like Fulham and Crystal Palace also shows his level of belief in Ipswich's ability to survive in the division.

Fulham have 'officially initiated' transfer talks – Indication €20m will be enough
Samuel Chukwueze has done quite well in his ongoing loan spell at Fulham. Negotiations are now ongoing over a permanent deal.

When the Nigerian joined the London club, AC Milan inserted an option to buy of €24m. This came after his struggles with the Rossoneri, where expectation has been growing about a permanent exit.

Sport Witness have covered the sentiment, with the Italian side desperate to get the money from Fulham.

The winger has contributed to seven Premier League goals in the campaign so far. Marco Silva's side want to keep him, however, they want a discount.

Talks ongoing between clubs
PianetaMilan report on the winger's situation, noting how he has become a starter at Fulham. He has started the last four Premier League games, raising Milan hope.

Now, the Craven Cottage side have 'officially initiated' discussions over a transfer.

Fulham don't want to pay €24m.

It's believed a deal can be done at between €18m and €20m.

Our take: Fulham right to take advantage
AC Milan have currently won only three of their last nine league games. They have gone from being in a title race to potentially finishing in a Conference League spot.

If they miss out on the Champions League, it would be the second time in as many seasons. There will be massive financial implications, forcing them to make sales and they will be desperate for capital gains.

Fulham probably know this and are playing on it.

Report: Marco Silva could leave Fulham and join Premier League rivals

Marco Silva Emerges As Marinakis Favourite
There is a particular kind of noise that follows Evangelos Marinakis when a football season bends towards uncertainty. It is not panic, not exactly. More a restless churn of ambition. Nottingham Forest may have secured their Premier League status under Vitor Pereira, yet the sense around the City Ground is that stability alone is rarely enough for an owner who measures football through progress and prestige.

According to TeamTalk, Forest are now considering another dramatic managerial change despite Pereira only arriving during the season. Marco Silva has emerged once again as a serious target for Marinakis, with the Forest owner reportedly maintaining a strong admiration for the Fulham manager following their successful spell together at Olympiakos.

It is a story layered with familiarity and intrigue. Silva once replaced Pereira in Greece and, if reports are accurate, history could repeat itself in Nottingham.

TeamTalk reported that Marinakis believes Silva could bring "stability, tactical structure and Premier League credibility" to Forest as the club look beyond survival and towards genuine progression. That line alone says much about the mood inside the hierarchy. Pereira has done enough to keep the club afloat, but Marinakis appears to want more than merely staying in the division.

Forest supporters have lived through enough upheaval in recent seasons to know that nothing remains still for long under this ownership.

Pereira Delivers Survival But Doubts Remain
Pereira inherited a difficult situation after replacing Sean Dyche in February and deserves credit for steering Forest away from danger. Results improved, performances gained greater resilience and the club avoided being dragged deeper into relegation trouble.

There were moments when Pereira's side carried genuine steel. He restored belief to a fractured dressing room and gave Forest a fighting chance during the closing months of the campaign. In isolation, survival should represent success.

Yet modern football rarely operates in isolation.

The concern for Pereira may be that Marinakis views him as a firefighter rather than a long-term architect. Forest have churned through managers at an alarming rate and there is little evidence the owner intends to soften his approach. Ambition remains the dominant force behind every major decision.

TeamTalk revealed that Marinakis is prepared to make a decisive move if Silva indicates openness towards taking over at Forest. That possibility alone creates tension around Pereira's future.

Silva's reputation in the Premier League has strengthened considerably during his time with Fulham. His teams play with clarity, aggression and tactical intelligence. Fulham have become organised without losing their attacking instincts, which is precisely the balance many ambitious clubs crave.

There is also the personal relationship factor. Marinakis and Silva built a successful partnership at Olympiakos, where Silva guided the club to the Greek title during the 2015-16 campaign. TeamTalk noted that Silva oversaw a remarkable run of 17 consecutive league victories during that period, reinforcing his standing as one of Europe's brightest young coaches.

Chelsea Interest Complicates Forest Pursuit
Forest are not operating without competition. TeamTalk also reported that Chelsea continue to assess Silva among potential managerial candidates following recent upheaval at Stamford Bridge.

Silva's stock has risen because he represents reliability in an era filled with managerial volatility. Clubs see a coach capable of improving players while implementing a coherent structure. Those qualities travel well across different dressing rooms and ownership models.

Benfica are also monitoring the situation closely amid uncertainty surrounding Jose Mourinho's future. The Portuguese giants reportedly view Silva as a figure capable of restoring domestic dominance while maintaining an attractive style of football.

For Forest, that creates urgency.

If Marinakis truly wants Silva at the City Ground, hesitation could prove costly. Bigger clubs with deeper resources are circling. Forest may offer ambition and financial backing, but Chelsea and Benfica carry historical weight few clubs can match.

That leaves Pereira in an awkward and uncomfortable position. He may yet retain his role, particularly if Silva chooses to remain at Fulham, but the existence of these conversations inevitably alters perceptions.

Managers can survive poor form. They rarely survive uncertainty from above.

Marinakis Pursues Bigger Vision For Forest
This is ultimately about the scale of Marinakis' ambition for Nottingham Forest. Remaining in the Premier League is not viewed internally as the destination. It is merely the foundation.

Forest have invested heavily since returning to the top flight and their owner appears determined to transform the club into a consistent force rather than annual survivors. Silva fits that image. Pereira, fairly or unfairly, may not.

The coming weeks could shape Forest's trajectory for years. If Marinakis moves for Silva, it will reinforce the sense that Nottingham Forest are prepared to operate aggressively in pursuit of growth. If Pereira stays, he will begin next season under immediate scrutiny.

Either way, instability continues to hover over the City Ground.

And with Marinakis involved, football rarely stays quiet for long.

Fulham line up contract talks with Raul Jimenez amid Everton links
Fulham will reportedly attempt to tie 35-year-old Mexican striker Raul Jimenez to a new contract in the coming weeks.

According to a report by Football Insider, Fulham would prefer to keep Raul Jimenez amid uncertainties surrounding his long-term future. The experienced striker has entered the final two months of his contract with the West London club, and they plan to hold talks with his entourage for a new deal.

The report has revealed that the Cottagers are ready to engage in discussions with Jimenez once "they have settled the future of manager Marco Silva" amid his links with Chelsea. Meanwhile, the Tepeji del Río de Ocampo native has recently emerged as a target for Everton, with the Merseyside outfit keen on signing a striker this summer.

Raul Jimenez has established himself as one of the most dependable strikers in the Premier League since joining Fulham from Wolverhampton Wanderers in July 2023. While the experienced attacker was already in the English top flight for half a decade, he has become more consistent during his spell with the West London club.

The 35-year-old initially shared game time with Rodrigo Muniz, but he has become the undisputed first-choice striker for Fulham in the last 12 months. The Mexican international has been impressive this season, amassing ten goals and three assists in 41 appearances across all competitions. However, with the player entering the final few months of his contract, the situation has piqued the attention of several well-known clubs, including Everton.

What next?
Everton's interest in Raul Jimenez is understandable. The Toffees are combing the market for a striker, as they want an upgrade on Beto and Thierno Barry, particularly if they secure European qualification. While both attackers have shown flashes of brilliance, they have not been as consistent as David Moyes would have liked.

Several candidates, including Ayase Ueda, have thus emerged on Everton's wishlist, with Jimenez also a viable target. While the Mexican striker will only be a short-term solution in the final third, he can be a top-class addition to the Merseyside club's offensive unit.

However, with Fulham eager to tie Jimenez to a new contract, Everton must keep options open. The final decision rests with the 35-year-old attacker, and it will not be surprising to see him stay at Craven Cottage, considering he is well-settled at the West London club.

Marco Silva plane trip with Mourinho encourages rumours around Fulham manager
Fulham manager Marco Silva has once again found himself dragged into Benfica rumours, and this time a flight to London is helping drive the noise.

Reports in Portugal over recent weeks have repeatedly described the Fulham manager as one of the leading profiles admired at the Estádio da Luz.

His knowledge of Portuguese football, combined with years of Premier League experience, makes him an obvious candidate from Benfica's point of view.

Then there is the Sporting CP factor. Silva coached Sporting CP before moving to England and won the Taça de Portugal there. Benfica still see that background as a positive because he already understands the pressure and politics of managing in Lisbon.

Trip with Mourinho adds to the buzz
Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manhã reports Marco Silva, who had been in Portugal enjoying a couple of days off, travelled back to England on Tuesday morning on the same commercial flight as José Mourinho.

Normally, that would not mean much, of course. Right now, though, it is exactly the sort of thing that gets people talking in Portugal.

Silva remains Benfica president Rui Costa's preferred option if Mourinho leaves this summer. With that hanging over the situation, the image of both managers boarding the same plane naturally created another round of speculation around the Fulham boss.

Both men reportedly refused to comment when approached by Portuguese media at Lisbon Airport before boarding the flight. Mourinho was specifically asked about Benfica and the reason for his trip, but stayed silent. Silva also avoided questions about his own future.

According to the report, Mourinho arrived first at the departures area of Lisbon's Humberto Delgado Airport shortly before the flight, which left around 6am local time. Silva reportedly appeared about 10 minutes later before boarding the same plane to London.

Benfica links are not going away
Mourinho's own position has become increasingly uncomfortable. Benfica's 2-2 draw against Braga this week brought another wave of frustration from supporters after they lost second place to Sporting.

In the meanwhile, this week we've seen tons of Real Madrid speculation regarding Mourinho. Some reports even claim he is certain to step in to Álvaro Arbeloa's seat in Santiago Bernabéu. So that has only pushed the rumours further.

Correio da Manhã says Mourinho travelled to London to spend time with family members who live there. The trip had reportedly already been planned, and he is expected back in Portugal in time to prepare Benfica for Saturday's final league match against Estoril.

One small detail from the report also caught attention locally. Mourinho travelled on a commercial flight this time, unlike at the end of April, when he reportedly took a private jet to Milan from Tires Airport for commercial commitments.

"It seems a little unusual"
The story quickly became a major talking point in Portugal after details of the flight emerged.

Local newspaper Record deputy director Vítor Pinto called the situation "an extraordinary coincidence".

"What seems less normal to me is that, in a decisive week, in the final week of the championship, with Benfica facing Estoril in the last match, José Mourinho feels the need to make this lightning trip," he said.

Pinto added that Mourinho is normally completely locked into football during key moments of the season, which made the timing stand out even more from his perspective.

"It seems a little unusual. He has such a focus on objectives that, in a final week like this, with the situation Benfica are in, maybe I would think José Mourinho would not make a trip that involves this kind of lightning travel."

At the same time, the journalist stopped short of trying to turn the situation into a conspiracy. He suggested Mourinho may simply have needed personal space during a difficult moment behind the scenes at Benfica.

"The times are turbulent, there is a lot happening behind the scenes. I can accept that José Mourinho himself may need this time and this personal space."

Fulham still waiting on clarity
From Fulham's perspective, this situation is becoming harder to ignore.

Silva is out of contract at the end of the season and there is still no public sign of a renewal breakthrough. Portuguese media continue to insist he is preparing to end his five-year spell at Craven Cottage. In Brazil, however, there are claims that Fulham is already preparing his successor.

Either way, the club are approaching a huge summer window and Silva remains central to recruitment plans and the overall direction of the squad.

According to Correio da Manhã, Silva had travelled to Portugal during his time off – something he regularly does – before returning early enough to oversee Fulham training ahead of Sunday's match against Wolverhampton, who have already been relegated from the Premier League.

In reality, the two managers probably just happened to be on the same flight.

Still, given Benfica's interest in Silva and Mourinho's uncertain position, there was almost no chance that detail would pass quietly in Portugal.

Aston Villa and Fulham ahead of transfer battle – Club receive offers for €30m winger
Aston Villa and Fulham may soon need to make concrete decisions on Geny Catamo. Reports in Portugal now suggest Sporting have offers on their table.

Catamo produced 12 goals and six assists across 55 appearances this campaign. He continued to grow in importance throughout the year.

CNN Portugal state the Mozambique international is increasingly expected to leave this summer. Sporting are targeting a fee in the region of €30m (£26m).

That is the clearest indication yet that the situation has moved beyond simple interest.

The Portuguese outlet claim Sporting are already preparing for possible changes to the squad after confirming midfielder Rodrigo Zalazar's arrival.

Meanwhile, they are simultaneously facing the prospect of losing one of their standout attacking players from this season.

"Right moment" to leave Sporting
There also appears to be a growing feeling around the player that the timing suits a transfer.

Luís Gonçalves, the coach who first introduced Catamo to the Mozambique national team, openly admitted he believes the winger is ready for the next step.

"I think this is the right moment for Geny Catamo to leave Sporting," he said in comments relayed by O Jogo.

"He is a player for another level, to join a club with bigger ambitions. With his characteristics, he can make a difference in any league", he stressed.

It is not the first time that someone suggests he needs to move to a bigger club.

Not a part of next season's plans
CNN Portugal commentator Nuno Farinha has now pushed the situation even further, claiming Sporting internally already expect Geny Catamo to leave this summer.

Speaking on the broadcaster, Farinha stated Rui Borges has effectively been told not to count on the winger for next season anymore.

He stated: "Sporting have already realised they will probably struggle to keep the player, who now has the opportunity to move towards salary conditions he has never had before and which Sporting probably cannot match either."

"The only information I don't have is which clubs have already submitted proposals," he explained. "But what I know is Sporting have already informed Rui Borges not to count on Geny Catamo next season."

Farinha also claimed the current gap between Sporting's demands and the incoming offers is still considerable. Sporting reportedly want around €30m (£26m), while the proposals arriving in Lisbon are closer to €20m (£17m).

Still, he suggested the situation could accelerate quickly if both sides move slightly in negotiations.

"If Sporting lower their demands a little and the offers rise slightly, it is possible that Geny Catamo could be transferred even before the Club World Cup," he added.

Farinha did not reveal the clubs involved, though he did say one proposal comes from "an important European league".

Transfer battle moving forward
The most important detail from CNN Portugal's report may be the claim that Sporting have already received two proposals.

The identities of the clubs involved have not been revealed. However, Aston Villa and Fulham have consistently appeared in Portuguese reporting around Catamo over recent months. In addition, Fiorentina have also been linked strongly from Italy.

Sporting renewed the winger's contract earlier this year and kept his €60m (£51m) release clause intact. Still, the club now appear increasingly open to a sale if the right offer arrives.

And with the asking price reportedly sitting around €30m (£26m), the race for Catamo may finally be entering the stage where interest turns into real negotiations.

Fulham hold talks to sign £70k-a-week star who Wolves are ready to sell, Silva loves him
Fulham are interested in signing an "incredible" Wolverhampton Wanderers star this summer, with Fosun now ready to sanction a transfer.

The Cottagers' interest stems from Marco Silva, but there are still doubts about whether the 48-year-old will even remain at Craven Cottage beyond the end of the season, with his contract due to expire.

Former Premier League striker Clinton Morrison has suggested Silva could be tempted to stay if the Cottagers qualify for Europe, saying: "Silva's stock is going to be high and I think he wants a change because he's not signed a new contract yet. But I don't understand why it's taking so long. He's done a brilliant job and they've got some top players. Everyone knows their role and they are a very good team.

"If Silva does get them into Europe then it might be a different conversation at the end of the season, but either way, he has done a fantastic job."

However, Silva's side's form has dipped at a crucial stage of the campaign, losing their last two Premier League matches, which means their chances of reaching Europe are looking increasingly remote.

Fulham looking to raid Wolves for Hwang Hee-chan  However, Silva's side's form has dipped at a crucial stage of the campaign, losing their last two Premier League matches, which means their chances of reaching Europe are looking increasingly remote.
Fulham looking to raid Wolves for Hwang Hee-chan

It remains to be seen whether the Fulham manager can be convinced to stay beyond the end of the season, but Wolves star Hwang Hee-chan has now been identified as a summer transfer target, with the ex-Everton boss regarded as a big fan.

There is a feeling Hwang would be perfect for Silva's system, and Fosun are ready to green light the South Korean's departure, with a potential transfer fee of £13m touted.

The Cottagers have already held early talks regarding a deal for the £70k-a-week forward, who has plenty of Premier League experience, scoring 27 goals in 148 matches for the Old Gold and being lauded as "incredible" by Statman Dave.

Raul Jimenez future update
The Wolves striker could be brought in as a replacement for Raul Jimenez, with the Mexican's current contract to expire at the end of the season.

At 35-years-old, it would be a risk to give Jimenez a long-term deal, even though he has remained a key player throughout the season, currently sitting second in Fulham's Premier League goalscoring charts.

However, there is still a possibility the former Wolves centre-forward pens a new deal, should talks progress smoothly, with Jimenez recently saying: "I don't know yet... we're still working on everything. There's time, and we'll see what happens in the next few games.

It depends a lot on what Fulham decides, on negotiations, on an offer being made, and then we'll analyse what's best."

That's a pass from me. One Wolves player I'd love though is Joao Gomes, he's exactly what we need. Probably beyond us though.

Noticed above post #8, and FFC's supposed interest in signing Jimenez for another season.  FFC has already given TC another season.

JMHO - - This just doesn't sound like a club interested in moving forward.......
