To be honest, I didn't even think we were as bad as some are making us out to be.

Their goal happened because Robinson slipped.

We missed two sitters, Iwobi and Berge. Iwobi at least hit the target. Berge's miss was absolutely embarrassing

We don't deserve to be behind on the balance of play but we are so wasteful and lacking guile when we get within 30 yards of goal

Mind you some of the best penalty takers for clubs over time, have been midfield or defenders.

Wolves are playing to win, since they have already been relegated.

Fulham are playing the style of their manager. Slow, boring, lackadaisical, uninterested, and just thinking of going home for the summer.

Jim Langley, showing my age....

My starting lineup was Cairney instead of Berge, Raul instead of Muniz and Chuk instead of Bobb. Still like to see those changes. Berge only has two gears (first and reverse); Bobb doesn't get involved and Chuk far better chance of creating something. Raul is a class striker.

HT observations

Wolves show FFC how to score goals (from distance).  Have a go, take a shot.

The more I see of Bobb, the more not impressed.  Had great chance to score, take a close in shot, but chose to cut in and lost opportunity.  Still, overall, unimpressive player.

Muniz totally invisible.

Again, too much ticky tacky short passing, and of course, way too much sideways and backwards movement. All that ticky tacky stuff results in no real chances created.

Two fluffs, Iwobi and Berge.

For a team that still has Euro desires, FFC just doesn't look interested.  Of course, I know they are, but just not inspired football.  Lots of possession, little in real chances created.  Same ol' same ol'.

I dont reckon Berge would be able to do that again if he tried

not acceptable- if we win out, we should finish above Chelsea.

The trouble is he was trying and his goalscoring record for Fulham of zero suggests otherwise.

Not for the first time I have to ask- what is the point of ESR? If we have a club psychologist I'd book him weekly appointments between tomorrow and next season. Clearly talented but attitude???
The world is made up of electrons, protons, neurons, possibly muons and, definitely, morons.

Quote from: DannyM on May 17, 2026, 03:43:01 PMESR - so poor. He plays with such little confidence.

And yet there is a more than decent player in there somewhere. I think when he first arrived we saw glimpses of what could be but since then it's been an alarming series of average performances. Is it the formation, is it training processes. Certainly very few players seem to have moved upwards and the mistakes are generally the same ones over and over. I really do fear for the likes of Josh King and Sess if this system remains next season.

Everyone just loves to bag on ESR. I would say he was one of our more important players that half. Had most likely the most touches, passes, etc. people just love to hate.

The thing is with Muniz,  he is getting around the pitch, and its not like he is fluffing chances,  but the wingers can never seem to pick him out on a cross (struggle to pick anyone from our crosses tbh) so he absolutely needs to do more, but also our wingers and mids need to actually get the ball to him too, our generally slow buildup play doesnt help that either.

Twig

My two penny worth. You generally deserve what you get and we didn't deserve much. Some poor, inaccurate passing in the final third, ESR probably the worst. Some dreadful finishing. An unimaginative, conservative midfield. Two wide players who would not be my first choice.
We may have dominated possession but I maintain that overall we don't deserve any more than to be level.

The worlds greatest back passer and one toucher....

What would I give for a bit of Mitrovic in this team. He would get so much more out of the talented but ineffective players around him.

ArcticOctopus

Honestly I thought we looked a lot more dangerous with Bobb on the right vs Wilson. A couple of dangerous Castange crosses were only set up because of the interplay between Muniz, Lukic, and Bobb. We look more threatening on the right now vs the left.

Kevin for Berge so Iwobi into midfield.

SerbianLad

Did Kevin come on for Berge?
