It's nothing to do with when Marco's contract expired. It's to do with waiting for a work permit as apparently Arbeloa didn't qualify for one, that hearing is this week according to media reports.

Work Permit will be issued for Arbeloa by Monday and the hold up is not just his work permit its seven members of his backroom team who also need work permits and all should be issued by Monday.

Fulham applied for the work permits last week and Arbeloa can not be appointed officially until that comes through, and you cant apply until the job has been offered and accepted which Arbeloa accepted the job last Thursday.

The delay has been with the Home Office not on Fulham's side or Arbeloa's side.

He will be annouced as soon as Fulham receive the Email to say its been completed and confirmation will be fourth coming.

It's believed that Fulham are getting frustrated with the delay themselves.

Also negotiations with Real Madrid for his coaching team took a little time as five was still in contract with Madrid.

Also all transfer plans are in place Fulham are actively trying to bring in 5-7 players this summer.

I would like one doing a show and tell on the subjects of corners and crossing. One focusing on telling players they were quite good when we brought them, "what the hell".
At least two in attendance on the training pitch with tennis racquets. Pass the ball backwards smack round the head. Actually another two equally armed to discourage aimlessly passing sideways and one with a taser who has the difficult task of encouraging a player to shoot when twenty yards out.
I guess ESR could wear a crash helmet until he acclimatises to the new regime.
