Premier League club Fulham has made a notable offer for the Black Sea team's young center back, Chibuike Nwaiwu. It is claimed that the English club proposed a 25 million Euro transfer fee and 3 million Euro in bonuses, but the Bordo-Mavili management deemed the total package of 28 million Euro insufficient.
While it is reported that Trabzonspor is demanding at least 30 million euros for the player, a new center back is expected to be signed for the defense in the event of a sale.

If he is not going to sign a new deal they need to cash in, especially as his value is likely higher with his WC showing.

I have a ton of respect for him as a player, but he is 30 next season. Between he and JA, the club could benefit from some succession planning at RCB as well. Selling him and bringing in Nwaiwu would satisfy that issue too.

If they were to name three players who should never be let go from the team, I'd say Pina, Nwaiwu, and Folcarelli. These three players are everything to the team. In fact, I'm going one step further: Nwaiwu is the best center-back to ever come to Turkish football. If he were on an Istanbul team, they'd wrap him in cotton wool. The Istanbul media, TV channels, newspapers—they'd be talking about the player 24/7. We have a center-back like Nwaiwu in our hands. Truly, know his worth.

On Palacios..

Cesar Palacios and Diego Aguado are my personal favourites. The quality is very much visible, and so is the character. Cesar's link up play is elite, quick and his first touches to escape pressure is very smart. Aguado in the few minutes that he earned, showed a lot of promise. I think these two should be in the first team next season.
Palacios especially looks so comfortable under pressure, like he's been playing at this level for years.

High praise from Madrid fans .. would be a great signing too compete with Kevin without shelling out 40m for Summerville.
