Yep, WE couldn't be bothered to negotiate a fee with Leeds so WE decided he could just walk out of the door on a free.

Damn TK and his failure to offer Wilson a lucrative contract extension. Negligence in the extreme 😤

Not sure how Wilson "inspired" the comeback. He neither scored nor had an assist 🤷🏻

Agreed! - Anyone watching the highlights can see that Wilson had little influence over Leeds' goals, and anyone who saw Liverpool's second half lineup, would see that most of Liverpool's world cup players aren't back yet, so Leeds were playing an academy side for the second half.

Yes, Harry was great for us last season, and yes, it'd have been nice to have kept him.. but I think it says a lot that he only announced signing for Leeds after Arbeloa had his first few days at Fulham. Whether it was tactical, strategic on an age basis, led by Wilson wanting to move, price and contract length dictated or otherwise, Wilson has moved on and we can't bemoan something we can't change... especially by drawing slightly pointless parallels between a game he hardly influenced against an academy grade team.

Sorry if that sounds harsh and personal, not meant that way! Let's focus on what we can control and the positives.

Harry was great at times and scored some fabulous goals for us.

Regardless of what went on with our management and him leaving on a free I wish him well (just not against us).

Sorry but Wilson was in and out in general apart from last season which was motivated by Wales not silva also the new recruitment model by ffc does not fit signing a player 29 and no resale value.

I'm pretty relaxed about him leaving given that the club has shown it wants to back AA.

Guarantee the Leeds fans will be on his back as an overpay if/when they have a bad run at any point in the season.

That one of his 6 inspired performances used up then!!!, hes gone ffs move on after all he was hardly a Louis Saha or Moussa Dembele (the good one)

Media looking for every opportunity to big up H at our expense because Leeds fit their preferred profile more than Fulham. They keep suggesting we have missed out but when you consider he was a bit part player used mainly off the bench bar his purple spell the narrative is very ill informed. He may do OK at Leeds, no more, but who really cares anyhow?

flyingfish

We haven't let him do anything. He wanted to leave, he's not indentured labour.

Yes they'll be gutted when Leeds get relegated next May.
