He just collates the information that is already out there and posts it in one handy place doesn't he?

Previously not so much, he now has made some connections with different agents and reporters that he seems to get bits from and that he shares...screenshots of messages with alleged reporters/sources etc.

Would be unfair for me really to divulge stuff he's sharing in that environment explicitly but across the summer there have been a fair few things he's covered before they've broken mainstream along the way and he was encouraged by other creators to offer a patreon for those who wanna support. Lots of stuff he's just collating and sharing of course too, he's not the all-seeing oracle. But along the way off top - Arbeloa stuff he was insistent was happening, the target list of youth targets we were going to go after early in summer has turned out to be pretty much spot on with what we've ended up with, or have pursued in public reports later even if we didn't end up signing them. Timeline of announcements and what was going on BTS during when Garcia and Palacios were signing was spot on. Costs and percentages around RM players pretty spot on, Some screen shares of convos discussing intricacies of what's been going on with the Tomori deal today that's been counter to what had been said publically. Now I see that's breaking about Tomori being in London and it being a matter of wages and not that he isn't interested outright per se, as sky italia allegedly reported.

Some reports of what's really gone on with Boey. Some random curveballs regarding the potential RB situation. Some chatter on Soule running counter to some mainstream reports. There's more beyond just today that's broken later, stuff he mentioned in other channels pre-Patreon that he was saying he needed to double-source before posting on twitter, but that broke before he had managed to.. but to track it all I'd have to go back through the whole summer 😅

Who knows, either way, he's a good lad just collating info for Fulham fans and sharing the bits he does manage to probe for as he gets them. Good for him. In reality, I look at the Patreon personally as a way of supporting and saying thanks to someone who's spent alot of time collating stuff around fulham with a couple quid,  who gets some interesting info and bits here and there that have checked out enough times now for me to assume he's managed to build some links out there so far. Ultimately, someone who is a fulham fan trying to grow something. Fair play to him.

Mullers OG

We are quite a short team already. Affengruber is short (6 foot 1) for a CB these days.

Do loans have to be completed today or is there an extra bit of window for those deals?

Bassey the warrior

Certainly not a boring window. Compare to last summer where we took an age to sign Kevin, then made a few loans.

I see we have acquired that RM midfielder.  Another very good player, but diminutive in stature.  Should there be concern here?  FFC now composed of quite a few players in this vain.  King (love him as a player, has been our best player so far, but easily knocked off the ball), Bobb, Kevin, Palacios, LDF (for his position), and now Angel.  Lots of flyweights in our team.  And Affengruber not such a big boy for CB.  Don't know stature of Larsson, another mid coming into the team.  Hope not a problem.

6'1" is not that short for a CB, it's about average.

Will be interesting to see if any last minute loan deals sneak in.

Argentina won the WC with Romero (6'1) and Martinez (5'7). Height isn't everything. Poor positioning will not help even the tallest CB make a header.

Reminds me of the 2007-2008 team. Tiny until Hodgson brought in Hangeland, Kalio, Andreasen . . . Even Eddie Johnson was by no means little for a striker.

They were also incredibly aggressive defensively and had one of the greatest players of all time in Messi. But you can't really compare WC football to the premiere league.  Apples to oranges.

The money we now look spending on another Spanish lightweight could have been better used going towards one if our original RCB targets or paying the dull amount up front for Ratiu.

4m for Manuel Angel is pennies to be honest in this market. That fee also amortised over the length of the contract.

The difference we should see in Angel vs the others, is that he's really tenacious - may be small, but similar to Reed in that regard.

By the sounds of it, many of the bigger RCB deals broke down due to Fulham needing to pay installments and clubs wanting most of the cost upfront.

Fulham agree deal for centre-back
Latest from Sky Sports News' James Cole:

Fulham have agreed a £8.5m deal with Elche for centre-back David Affengruber.

The 25-year-old is on his way to London for a medical.

£8.5m doesn't fill me with confidence for a starting CB in the premier league
