I fancy him to get a goal in the 2nd half . Today we can see his pace and he has linked up play well . On a couple of occasions the quality was lacking in the final ball to him . we shall see.

I keep thinking Cairnet will keep playing killer balls to him

I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

He wouldn't score if the goals were 3 ft wider.😅

Moussa Dembele the 3rd

I think he belongs on the bench for a few games.

He was excellent today. Very mobile and dynamic. Not having much luck at the moment but it will come.

I agree. His work rate is epic. It will come.

I genuinely think he would be a massive threat coming on at 70mins. He has great energy and talent. And its a long hard trawl, in the Prem. A break would help him.

There is so much to Garcia's game. He played really well today. I'm more convinced the goals will come.

Muniz has his strengths but he's nowhere near as mobile. The front four created all sorts of problems for Villa and I'd keep them as a unit.

I would agree if there were a replacement available to enable him to take a break.

I do think Garcia has the potential to succeed in the Premier League, I'm just not convinced it will happen with us. He looks like the kind of player who needs better, more technical players around him. Simply pumping crosses into the box is no good with Garcia up front. Muniz may not be the answer, but I still think we look more likely to score with him rather than Garcia. We have too many physically small players in our starting 11 to get the best from a striker like Garcia.

@jolslover

He was much improved today, linked up play really well and other than a goal was a pretty perfect striker performance. Great to see!

Anyone saying he had a poor game or slating him after today makes their conclusions before kick off...

But the whole point of being a striker
is scoring goals.

I reckon that, if he was played as a 10, he'd do better. The skill and talent is there imo, but maybe AA should see how it plays out with Garcia and Muniz? Don't know how that would affect the other midfielders. King would obviously stay on the field.

Don't think that we need another centre forward until Bobb puts in the odd centre now and again.

I think Bobb has been playing some of his best football but he has a tendency to dribble into contact and, as you point out, crosses into the centre don't seem to be his strong suit.

fulhamfever

He reminds me of Fernando Torres when he first moved to Chelsea and he had a great work rate off the ball would drop deep just to help out the team but had to wait a long time for the consistency of goals to give him belief again.

Colinwhite

Great performance by the kid .he was unlucky and he is going to make a few eat humble pie soon .
His strong suit is his pace and mobility ,movement off the ball. today he showed how quick he is.

C Block

760 minutes played, 1 Goal scored, No assists.
He can't say he hasn't been given a chance, but those figures need to improve (dramatically) by January 1st, or a new striker comes in and he drops to the bench.

I love his dribbling providing that it starts inside and not outside the penalty area so that defenders back off. We need to work the ball meticulously to get it to him in that situation.
