What do you guys think? He's getting on a tad but I still think he's a legend and should go out on a high like winning the Europa League.

we will get another season out of him yet but we do need to get someone like O'Hara as a ready replacement though

I agree, I think he has one good year left in the tank.
Fulham for life!

I don't know what to think to be honest he's been reliable this season when he's played I think perhaps an Impact substitute next season?

I believe that's part of the problem, he hasn't been that reliable since December. Unfortunately Roy built his team on a strong defence, and a solid midfield from where attacks would surface. Since Murph has either been marked out of the match, or, as we saw yesterday, makes some dreadful errors and is 1/2 yard behind his best, then the whole strategy breaks down, and those up front don't get the service they need, or the players have to play around him.

It's a sad state, but I believe that he just needs a rest and get his mental state in order and he'll be back where he was last season, leading the club forward again. he might be old, but I would rather have his experience on the pitch than an inexperienced player, although I feel let down when he makes such basic mistakes.

One more season as a bit part player. O'Hara is defo the man we need.

WE'RE NOT GETTING O'HARA!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know why so many of you think we have a shot.

Why won't we get him? Two reasons:

1. He would help us immensely.

2. 'arry 'olds 'is registration.

Might as well dream of getting Fabregas or Cahill or Gerrard or Iniesta. Ain't gonna happen.

I love Murphy to death, but this season he has seemed to get tuckered out before 90 minutes is up. This is causing him to lunge into rash challenges and commit fouls that are not so helpful. I like the physical element he brings to the game and the leadership he has. It's a tough choice, but I don't think that one can compete in the prem without being fully match fit (despite Murphy's tremendous cunning).
Time is blind.
Make sure in the parking lot of life, you do not take it's handicapped spot because then you'll be occupying time's space, the ticket for which is being thrown into a wormhole.

I don't see that he's out of our league. He'll not be a guaranteed first teamer at Spurs.

My guess is that we'll get a few Bosmans and foreigners we don't really know.

We'll complain that they're no better than what we have or Championship players at best or have inside information that they're wholly inadequate.

And we'll be wrong.

Murphy has one more season in him I think then he'll call it a day, unless he wants to go back to crewe or something which could be possible but it's unlikely.

Murphy will be fine. He's not cut out for 3 games a week though. Keep him injury free and we've got another Paul Scholes on our hands.

He's had a bit of a dropoff from last year to this year and as the season has progressed.  Given his mileage, I don't know that the Danny Murphy we see today is the same one we'd have come fall or winter.

Given the time Roy takes in integrating new players into the squad, I'd like to see an heir apparant come in over the summer and be ready to take over the reins by January if need be.
