If Hangerland wants to leave at the end of next season don't worry, we will have a ready made, tall, blond haired centre back waiting in the wings ready to take over, DAN BURN!!

Brede's game has never been about his legs. I'd definitely give him at least a 2 year deal, but happily a 3 year one, taking him to his 35th birthday, when at worst he can be an experienced quality back-up.

I quite agree
Dan-Ger-Land will one day be an England player

What? St. Brede and his agent say at a news conference that he hasn't signed a new contract? What insurrection! What a lack of concern for the fans! What ingratitude for the club that brought him to England.

Well, he was born in Texas after all.  yee-haw!

We've forgiven him for that, HD!    :dft009:

Basically your saying that if a player won't extend his contract then he should always be sold with 2 years remaining regardless of his age and ability??

We all have different veiws and as the players have all the power these days then the club will always appear to be at fault.

I agree with you that the players have the power, almost to the point of blackmail, give me what i want or i am off, he is a good player and done very well for us, our problem is that we do not know what if anything has been offered to him, funny when Steed went off for more money he was called a greedy barsteward.

Sadly she wasn't

I thought he was made captain and as such I would imagine a reasonable pay rise comes with that?
If that's not enough maybe we should rethink the captaincy?
