Young players in Europe?

Both are playing for good ish national sides and starting to play regularly for us and they're both still comparatively young. They're definitely exciting. I can still remember kaka touch and swivel goal last season- sublime goal for someone that young.

Does anyone know their ages and have any contemporaries who are the same age now so we can judge them against to see how good they are?

Do you think any of the rest of the current crop of youngsters show as much promise?

Altmann? Mesca? Etch etc

Edwatch_Winston_Malone

No, not really

I will be very surprised if they play more than 30 games between them...

Huxley

depends what you definition of two of the best... best dozen, no... best 40,no... best 100, yes.

Markffc123

there is some promise there-i had some high hope for briggs..but he seems to have halted any potential he had-and im not quite sure what his best position is-jack grimmer looks promising

Kaca looks the real deal but Kerim has to overcome his injury issues if he wants to make it at the highest level

MJG

They are both very promising and we should continue to use them as the 2 players on the left. No farming out on loan or spending 4M on another winger.
Show faith in them, yes they will make mistakes and be inconsistent, but that will improve. Kaca is ahead of Frei currently and I know some on here hate Frei for some reason, but he is still the most exciting youngster we have in the first team squad.

kaca is far better than Kerim in my opinion, i believe if Kerim stays then Kaca will play 2 games to kerims one
Every day is a Fulham day

And that would be fine. Over the season if they alternated every so often or replaced each other. With cup games maybe 25-30 starts for Kaca and 15+ for Frei, plus sub appearances.

I don't know any Fulham fan that hates Frie (as you put it) but he is behind Kaca who has already established his place in the full international side.

I like Kerim but he has to show a lot more but I also agree that he needs game time this season to prove himself.

David Allen Crankshaw

I'm always bemused as to why Frei is used solely on the left. On the opposite flank we could see how well he could use his skills to go on the outside of the full-back.

ffcbulgaria

Well Kaca is ahead of Frei but he's also 2 years older so it really makes sense :P

Frei has every possibility to actually be better when he hits 21!

They're both pretty good but it's silly to put them in the same category as a Neymar or a Gotze.

simplyfulham

Don't get me wrong. I like both players and love that we have them at our club.

But as far as best young players in Europe goes.. They're not even the best young players in south west London
