Props to Liverpool supporters -- sorry, Mr. Finn

I watched the Stoke match at Anfield, yesterday, and noticed -- yet again -- how warmly Liverpool's supporters greet their ex players, even in enemy kit. Contrast that with how we tend to boo our OWN players -- even in their first appearance for us.

Don, did you note that Robbie Keane had a hat trick yesterday. He was defended mostly by Carlos Salcedo. Still miss him?
Its not that I could and others couldn't.
Its that I did and others didn't.

Don,
As far as I can recall, Liverpool supporters have always been like that with ex players.

I think most ex players get a good reception at Fulham. Only ones I can think of really that didn't are Dempsey and Zamora. Just depends of the circumstances in which a player leaves. I'm pretty sure Paul Konchesky and Roy Hodgson wouldn't get good receptions at Liverpool.

Saha and Sean Davis got absolutely slaughtered, I was a little shocked at the hostility directed at Davis

I think as long as you treat the club with respect as a player and don't mess it about, we as fans respond to that and give the player the respect back when they return.

I didn't know he was in the MLS, YJ.

And, yes. I still miss him. The caption is part of the fashion statement.

There are two Sals! There's one who plays in Mexico and our old friend, Carlos Salcido, and a 19 year old defender who plays for RSL called Carlos Salcedo. Madness.
